CAR CAMPING at the FISH POND (On a BUDGET) - Hot Dogs vs. Trophy Fish

I set up all my Walmart camping gear (on a budget) near out backyard pond and catch and cook some fish with my wife and my son Holden. I will show you how to start camping from a beginner's point of view using cheap camping gear, tents, sleeping bags, and camp mats. I'll cook a fresh fish with a stick over the campfire and roast some hotdogs and marshmallows. Typical car camping accessible by almost everyone! We set up our huge tent at the edge of the pond, go for a kayak in the pond, catch a fish, start a fire, roast marshmallows and hotdogs with a stick and hang out. Our camping gear is all inexpensive. I agree that the pond is way too small.
I don't even like looking at it, as it reminds me of a big puddle after a heavy rainstorm.
My 60, 000 gallon swimming pool might be deeper, and have more water than the pond.
I realize that cost was a factor, but I would have definitely doubled the size of the pond, and made it at least fifteen foot deep.
You really need to have some depth, as well as width!
You also need to incorporate native aquatic vegetation into the plan along the shore line, and in the actual pond.
Yes, yes, everything has a cost, I know.
I'm sure that a lot of viewers would donate a few dollars, or Looneys, or whatever you Canadians call your money, but it would probably be nice of you to allow them to visit and fish in the pond.
You could set up a little campground for a few campers, and let them set up a tent, or a hammock!
I would start an official Go Fund Me page, or something similar to that.
Good Luck!

More Junk to buy, a trail cam just to see what's around: it's trapping season, the trout make good bait. with a trout that size, maybe the rest of the trout are in it's belly. If you have an indoor garden, you know for herbs, store your worms in your indoor plants. i never heard of anybody keeping worms in the fridge, if your going to kill your worms, you might as well throw them outside where you can dig them up. Your crowdfunding idea would be a lot better if you had a return on investment plan. Putting worms in the fridge, LOL.

I'm with Holden on the condiments for the hot dog! I use about 1/2 tsp of ketchup, 1 TB mustard/pickle relish, and diced onions! All my hotdogs and the buns are non-GMO ingredients - about as healthy as you can make a hot dog, which is an oxymoron!
I have bought both flavor of chips here in SE Wisconsin - not just a Canadian thing!

Since this is a wal mart themed video I was thinking of the flies I tied for you. I'm betting if you put them in a bag of power bait they will give them the correct smell. I think that might have been the problem we had with them. The marker may be giving a chemical smell.

Here in the U. S., I haven't seen the ketchup chips, maybe they have them up North, I'm in Texas, but I LOVE the dill pickle chips! Seriously, I'll eat the whole bag. Nice trout, for sure, but not trophy, lol. I've caught wayyyy bigger in Alaska, and in the Gulf.

Roots are easy to kill. Within 10 to 15 seconds of cutting down tree, spray fresh cut with Roundup. The roots will suck that poison down and never be a problem again. Have to spray it on a fresh cut though, it only takes 10-15 seconds for the stump to -scab- over.
