Hey man Don't forget the legs, heart and gizzard. The breast is only half the meat in a grouse. Grip the base of the legs where they are on the hips and putt you'll be surprised with the meat in the legs. Few annoying tendons but less waste. As well at the heard and gizzard. love the content my fellow Canadian outdoorsman. Cheers!

Why dont you ever use your Ruger 10/22 for Grouse? Would it be cleaner kill with head shots on the grouse? Would a 22LR and shot gun be a good combo for Grouse hunting with a buddy?
