Those things are prolific in the lake. It's gotten to the point i don't want to run my favorite crankbaits or certain colors or they'll just snap it off. I loose about 10 lures a year to musky on LSC. I might as well start targeting them damn things. Between them and the bass there's nothing left. Perch and walleye populations sure aren't what they use to be. I'll keep my 1 a year and bury it in the garden. If I want a fish for sport I'll go catch tarpon.

wow disliked for using a boga grip on a musky/pike, they don't have jaws strong enough to be hold up using a boga grip. That's so dumb, you will damage them so badly if they start flipping i've seen it hundred times before. Such amateuristic

You guys have deep sea trolling gear for muskies, you are overpowering the fish which can be dangerous and it can't be fun fighting a fish that easily. They are literally piling the fish across the water like nothing is on it.

why not use a 7/0 saltwater combo for this tourist fishing, c'mon guys. really? appreciate the skill and setup but this gear is atrociuos imo. maybe casting with lighter gear is not a way to make a living on st clair

That's really not even Muskie fishing. Try casting those bait with a heavy rod for hours on end. Fishing is casting reeling and working your bait. Not just driving something around waiting for a fish to bite

You totally need to do some small mouth fishing on this lake. I grew up fishing on this lake and its not uncommon to drift for walleyes and catch nothing but 6lb smallies. Its pretty intense.

I've never caught muskie intentionally I always catch them walleye fishing on rapalas big ones to some up to 46 inches, I know josh is from Canada they average around 50 inches up there
