I flew up to Virginia with one mission, catch the biggest cobia of my life I met up with Capt. Austin Hayne from Finao Sportfishing and we headed into the Chesapeake Bay to find and catch a giant cobia. The conditions were tough, but after hours of fishing, I hooked a giant

weak fight, usually the case with pelagic fish in murky water, we have a fish here called an Australian salmon a similar fish to what u call a southern yellowtail we get them were I live averaging 10-15lbs and pound for pound they fight insanely hard but every time ya get one when its murky they just flop, they must get disorientated or something and confused not being able to see much past 3 feet.

What an amazing fight these fish can put up. My buddy and I tag teamed a 70lber for almost an hour. Learn real quick not to bring them in the boat green. Had a pool party BBQ and this whole fish was finished in not time. One of the best eating fish I have ever had. Catching them can be tricky sometimes. They can be picky eaters.

I dont know what I had but Saturday I was fighting a fish that we had to chase that swam away from the wreck I believe it was a shark, aj, Cobia, wahoo, or kingfish but I was on full drag and it almost spooled me. We were around 98 feet deep and it broke me off 60 feet right out of sight

For those that's never caught Cobia, something they failed to mention is you want the fish to be totally worn out before you boat it, if it's still Green, or has energy left it will wreck the inside of your boat, specially if it's a big one.

I guessed youd reach 1 million subs by 9/1. I was way off. Youre going to be at 1. 2 million by then. Keep up the great work. Thanks for keeping your content interesting for the parents and kid-friendly, as well.

Good luck next week I was just fishing with Austin today because his boat needed maintenance so he just hopped on my boat for the day but we saw a lot on the first island caught only one 47 though.

Hey Josh just a quick question. I am looking at getting the Penn spinfisher 8500 whats your opinion on using it for the surf for larger fish like tarpon or snook and maybe some 4/5 foot sharks
