I headed to the Florida Keys with one mission, catch a monster fish Our Everglades boat departed from Parmer's Resort and while we were on the way to the offshore wreck, we found some birds working the surface. I threw a metal jig towards the birds and hooked a dolphin (mahi-mahi) on my retrieve. After a short battle, the fish managed to shake the hook. Shortly after, I saw another dolphin in the water and it was a giant bull I pitched a live mullet in the water and within a few seconds, the giant bull dolphin was hooked After an intense battle, we managed to get the fish in the boat and it was truly a monster This was by far the biggest dolphin (Mahi Mahi) of my life After catching the dolphin, we went snapper fishing on a shallow wreck. When we got back to Parmer's Resort, I cleaned the dolphin and we had a Catch N Cook. I made fish tacos and they were delicious

It is my biggest wish that my fiance (my husband on 8/10/19) that he catch a BIG BULL like this one. He has tried for years and years and, more than my fondest big fish wish, it my biggest wish that HE catch his final bucket list fish, a BIG bull dolphin. I just love this video and it just fuels my hope for my Jim to catch his He works very hard, saves lives for a living (every shift he works he makes the difference in the survival of one or more patients) as an ICU Intensivist. We're not getting any younger. hope it's one day soon Thanks for this awesome vid

As someone who works in the culinary industry as a chef. You NEVER filet a fish right after it comes off ice. The fibers are stiff, they break when you filet it while stiff and it takes away from the tenderness and robs the fish of flavor. Let the fish rest before you filet it. And the way it was filleted wasnt proper either. Youre a hell of a fishermen, but not much of a chef still a good catch though

Dude You crack me up I get such a kick listening to your fisherman talk, short choppy semi-words repeated super fast. I'm 62, grew up in South FL, and knew Biscayne Bay and the keys like the back of my hand. I haven't seen the ocean since moving to GA. 22 yrs. ago. In the meantime I've been living through your adventures, having a good time laughing with you & company. Thanks

BlacktipH you are a spoiled brat kid that needs your rude mouth smacked. Soooo Obnoxious Its 60 lbs Its 40lbs Its 30lbs You literally cut the fishs weight in half by the time you held it. Chill out and gain some maturity and respect for not only the people around you but also the fish. You probably call your mom by her first name too.

Hey Josh, just ignore all the hate brother. obviously a lot of people out here don't share the passion you have and everyone's different I'm still a giant kid no matter how many fish I catch and that will never change.

I caught a 55 pounder off of Cabo once. It took me an hour to land it and I was totally beat. I thought it was a 100 pounder by the time I landed it. At least this one I have the photo at the pier
