Hey Brandon, couple of things. Not sure it's true, but friend who is a DNR officer tells me that gar can be an indicator of low oxygen levels. Consequently I've never caught a bass near gar. Also, offshore jet ski fishing is a thing. Do a quick Google search, all sorts of customization out there. Keep up the good work!

Just wear gloves or use your shirt to grip the Gar to take out the hook or with any fish. You should have a multi-tool on you at all times they don't cost anything. You can get a calm design of a multi-tool in the fishing section of basspro online.

My family has the same jetski and a little trick is there is a nuetral on it. it will help alot when flushing out the system after salt water and just sittting on the beach and rev bomb lol. good luck and have fun.

I fish outta my 2015 fx cruisrr sho. Its deff fun but after awhile you appreciate the room on a jon boat or bass boat. Hard to move around on a ski when you hook a fish lost plenty of gear

everybody stop complaining about the hook left in the gar. 1st of all he didn't even swallow the hook. 2nd of all gar have tons of teeth I wouldn't have put my hand near its mouth

Personally I think jetski fishing is a joke. Just don't turn into another jetski wanker, there are already enough dickheads out on the water, we don't need any more.

Why would you cut the line instead of taking the hook out of the gar? At 9: 44 you can see him throw the gar back with line still on the fish.
