FYI:
Be very careful
when wade-fishing. Not only will you OFTEN find sharks feeding, there are
also stingrays laying flat on the bottom, like flounder, that are almost
impossible to see, U sure dont wanna step on one = Very Painful. Ive had
trout & reds on my stringer = Full, and a hungry shark swam right between
my legs & ate the belly out of my largest trout, a Perfect V = like it
was cut away with a razor blade. Moral = CAREFUL!

Here in the upper midwest, we have our own version of this. only instead we're fishing for carp with fly rods. We use some of the same spot and stalk techniques. It can be quite frustrating, but when you hook into one it makes all the effort worth it!

that beach is beautiful. flyfishing is the most relaxing thing I've ever done. never had a chance to fish flats like that but it's on the bucket list
