One of my pet peeves is someone taking a girl or woman shooting and not preparing her for recoil. Darci could have been smacked really hard in the cheek by not getting her cheek down on the stock, and I know that shoulder hurt bad from shooting such a shell to start things off. Introduce shooting with the fun things and then work your way up. Hell, I don't even want to shoot 3 1/2 inch shells, even in a recoil reducing shotgun. No fun.

The eye and ear protection has already been mentioned no need to say more about that. I have taught many people to shoot from grown men to children girls and boys, never would I load them up with heavy shotguns or cartridges like this, it turns the novice off, sometimes for life, also NO attention was paid to your stance, and critically important gun safety! Love your video's keep em coming and tight lines!

yea its an old video but hey better late then never. im still trying to catch up. anyways your areal trooper Darcy, i could see you started to get a little ill after the pistol its ok its not for everyone and it looked like capt. pat was messin with you a bit to much as well. anyways its all good. just keep having fun.

I'm not going to repeat all of the great advice about the hearing and eye protection, it's not your fault since you are new to this, BUT the Pro that took you out should have shown you more respect and love. My advice avoid him in the future. LOVE your videos and your attitude is the BEST!

I got so excited when I saw this posted! I hunt a lot myself and love to see people try it out! Do you need a ccp to use a shotgun in Florida or does Cizzle carry? Happy hunting! If it flies it dies, if it hops it drops!

Darci, u ought to try a semi automatic 20 gauge, you would like it much better. I'm 6'2 225 and I personally think a 20 is much nicer to shoot, faster handling and will drop most game as fast as a 12 gauge with good aim.

Captain Pat's an idiot for letting a girl that size shoot a 3 inch double ought buck, that's not how you get new people into shooting guns, all it does is scare them from shooting guns for the rest of their life.

Good job. Yeah, I'm not much of a Shotgun guy myself but I have shot them. I prefer my AR or a 30/30 but that's just me. At least you got out there and tried. Brian, your boots speak for themselves. Just kidding!

Idiot, why would you ever have her shoot without earpro? Good way to lose your hearing. Guy is cluless, plus a 100 pound girl with 3. 5 magnum. Just idiotic. Run away from this guy as fast as you can.
