So Darcie, I know you primarily use spinning reels, but what are your thoughts on baitcasters? Im right handed, so on a spinning reel, i cast with my right and reel with my left. I see a lot of anglers who use baitcasters cast with their right hand, then switch to left hand so they can reel with their right hand that they just cast with. Seems to me, that small amount of time switching hands could mean the difference between landing a fish and missing one.

Ah yes, gaters remind me of home. Awesome that you are trying to get to new areas. Ok get out of the nursery. LOL. Look at Darcie kick it with that wacky rig. That bass has been injured. Bowfin, we call them mudfish and That is the first I have never seen caught on a fly. HAH! It's Darcies fault. Good one Brian. That rod and reel combo is a great bass setup. I have similar setups for bass myself. Great video.
