hot frying water lol, cant wait to catch them and try them, been catching so many of these and they will messed up your hook, and never cut the liver or throw back to the water if other fishing eat them or containment the water, I'll start doing some catch and cook, hope you guys like the REAL asian cooking way, if taste like chk, I already know making a sweet and sour puffers

Amazing you just discovered how delicious they are. I have been catching and eating them all my life (78 years young). faster way to clean cut behind head as you did stick both thumbs in and turn inside out, pull guts and clean that little black line in center with finger.

We have lots of them here in baja California mexico. We grilled them. Salt, pepper and garlic. And you can make a dip. With orange juice on a pan with butter. Then add a couple of chipotle Chile. Excellent dish.

Boy we caught a lot of them back in when I was like 10 years old when I lived in Pompano Beach yeah we used to catch a lot of those pufferfish we didn't know it was good eating we always through them back

You need to do a collaboration with deermeatfordinner maybe even learn some stuff 5 foot leader for that type of Rod fishing inshore not a good idea and not a good idea to clean fish with a tactical knife

Hopefully someone can answer this question ASAP. I caught 3 and plan to cook them this evening. I was wondering if them being in ice water can transmit the poison to other fish or taint the meat?

We use to throw all them back but when a lady at the beach told us how to clean them and cook them, they are DEFINITELY chicken of the sea! People will almost fight people for them.

I keep learning new things, just yesterday I was at the 14th Street boat ramp in Pompano watching all the checkered puffer fish swim around at the boat ramp wishing they were food.

Boar if I known this one I was catching all those puffer fish down in Pompano Beach I would have kept them all but boy we caught a lot of them when were kids
