Growing up in Panama, in the Canal Zone, on the Pacific side, there is a long causeway, we used to fish off of. We called those hound fish -causeway marlin-. They were fun to catch and jumped like crazy hooked up. They were bait, did not eat them. Amberjack in the pacific could be very wormy too. Weird you-d spear one and no worms, spear another out of the same school, it would be full or worms. Nice vid. Well done on the papagallo. Poor eating, but fun to catch.

I wish I could could have seen this video a month ago. My daughter and her family went to Cabo this past week and had a terrible fishing guide. The water was calm and clear but he didn-t put them on anything. It-s a good thing my grandson doesn-t care, he just likes to fish, but like I told him, it ain-t fishin- if you ain-t catchin-. lol

Hey -Bluegabe, whats your opinion on those Pangas? I am curious how you feel they handle the chop / waves. I am considering getting a 25ft but want something that can handle offshore. I am not talking 6-8 footers but if is windy and choppy and just bumpy (you know how fast things change around here. Anyways just curious on your opinion.

I would not recommend Capt. Aaron! I go to Cabo 4-5 times a year and used him a couple of times and caught nice roosters but never used him again. He is like that one person in your family that talks and talks and talks and you get tired of the bull shit lies they tell. Dude your the captain of a panga, not a 62 foot Viking.

My family lives here on the East Cape, Sea of Cortez. Fun to see you down this way. We NEVER eat needle fish. I was always told they are mushy and boney. That was good enough for me. Now I know they are infested with parasites. Enjoy your time. Thanks for the videos.

Gabe I hear about this fish having worms from I was a kid but is the first I have ever seen it and it's because we don't eat fish like you do but the next time I catch one of these I'm going to do it like you do thanks man this is a eye opener for me.

I had my tonsils out when I was 11. I never get any more strep. I am a nurse and have taken care of everyone in my family that got strep without getting it. Might want to think about getting rid of those puppies. Glad you still got to enjoy your trip

Those worms are just more protein. lol. NOT! I'm a Floridian, born and raised, and I've eaten just about everything, but I wouldn't eat that wormy thing either. Well, unless I was starving, then I'd eat it.
