Short story: I binged all your videos up until this point 9 months ago. Only started up again recently. You seriously get some of the most incredible shots I've ever seen, including National Geographic or whoever else. And that Conger! So curious and playful! I had to double-check, but do you think the one from the underwater footage could be the same one you caught? That would be insanely cool. Thanks so much for everything! Now on to continue my binge!

Wow what a sunrise with the mist just amazing. We get some stunning ones here in Australia but not with the mist rolling down off the cliffs.
Mate common sense aint that common anymore lmao.
That spotted ballwn wrasse was beautiful.
The underwater footage was great especially seeing the conger investigating and like what you said on another video about them using their 2 nostrils to hunt really showed it.

I am learning so much from these videos, so thank you. I have just ordered my first boat which unfortunately will not arrive until September so I am using the time to learn as much as I possibly can. Although my fishing will be done in the North East so I doubt the species available will be a patch on the South Coast. Keep up the brilliant work and thank you so much!

Great vid man. Did a season on me uncle's lobster boat and we got a lot of by-catch like you were getting, dog, conger and cod. Fortunately I had another uncle ashore who was a trained chef with a sensational cellar and would knock together seafood platters with matched wines. And what a wanker that guy charging around you.

Loved the video of the seabed! When you were saying that you'd dropped the camera down there, I though the visibility was going to be virtually nil - was amazed to see it so clear! You've said before that Conger can bite very gently in the past and it's clear why now - that one was giving things the full appraisal!

Another good one thanks John! --- The underwater footage of that young Conger was fantastic - you can see how they would nudge stones & small rocks around to get at a morsel of food! Lovely Wrasse too. A trip out without 'Dingo Doggies' just wouldn't be the same! -- Stay safe and well.

When there were a lot of Doggies around St Ives, rather than waste good baits, we used to use a bit of corduroy soaked in fish oil on the hook. Then when they'd moved on, we'd still have some peelers and rag left for Bass and Turbos.

We bought some wild caught cod. It was tasting great until I noticed pilots pink threads running through parts of the flesh which I've never seen before. Any idea what that was? I thought cod to always be solid white flesh. Thanks

The GoPro was awesome -! Put some hook and bait on the camera set up and you will have a lot of Conga. Was that real time for the Starfish? if so, those suckers can move. Another well enjoyed video. Have a great week.
