Hello John -
Thanks again for another action-packed and informative video.
In your reply to some of the other comments, you said you had to cut out some of the other fish you caught in order to keep the length of the video down.
I've probably watched thousands of fishing videos since i started making them and i can tell you for a fact, the videos you make are as good as any that are currently out there. In my humble, you definitely haven't got anything to worry about as far as the length of the video goes. As a viewer, the time seems to pass in the blink of an eye and for me, that's a great indicator of being engaged in the video - -
Graeme and Mike Pullen over at TAFishing have recently been experimenting with the longer format videos and some of their productions are well over an hour in length. Their viewers are loving it and your videos are as good, if not better, than the videos they make.
There is sooo much information in every video you make, i could watch longer videos. no problem.
By the way, what was the weight of the Bass?
You said you was going to weigh it once it had got its breath back -

after our winter here in Canada it would be great to be out in a boat-fishing-soaking in the sun; But my father did that for many years out in Victoria British Columbia fishing in a boat- just as a heads up -he too fished without a hat and developed skin cancer around the hairline at the front, which the doctor said a hat might have prevented. I have worn a baseball cap out in the sun for many years- fishing or not. Just enjoy and be safe.

Wow! this was my area many years ago, you are fishing on the Old Walls as was known, was well known for Pollock. Spent my young years on a Falmouth crabber, FH 1, from Manacles up to Dodman. FYI, there is a German Henkel between St Anthony & the old wall, have dived the area in the past but not found it.
Now in the south of France & frequent visitor to Corsica. Good video's enjoying watching, thanks.

That's the peril of big Huss fishing, you work your nuts off to get it to the boat, and it ruins your day by spitting the hook. But so what, we get straight back down there looking for the next one. And that bass, wow. As much as I love eating bass, that beauty would have gone back as well. Brilliant fun, majestic fish, and proper conservation thrown in too. Hell, I miss my boat! :)

Hi Mr. Fish Locker, now first thing first your the expert but consider this, when you set the tension of your reel try this method, simply hook into something solid like a corner of the boat click the bail arm on and raise the rod you can then set the tension of the reel with the line under tension your rod should be raised in the air and bent as if your fighting a fish, good luck buddy.

Superb entertainment and what a beautiful day to be out - the float, given you can see it, adds interest and a feeling of participation - a video with several floats going would be fascinating from a viewer anticipation point of view. I was hoping it would 'bob' while you had you're back turned and I could shout! Natural, brill telly - hats off and thank you. :)

Hi John. I'am watching some of ur vid's all over again as they are brilliant. - and I was interested in the lure you caught your bass on-. I was wondering next time when you're making another vid at home, would you show some of the lures that you use when boat fishing. Also thanks again for the great vid's. Matt

Hi John, Yet another brilliant video. I note your 'conversion' to circle hooks and that now you won't go back to the 'J' form. What about your beach rigs like Pennel's for example? I have seen folks use a J for the lower and a circle for the upper? Views?

Generally enjoy your videos - that said, I'm still uncomfortable with live baiting - especially with increasing evidence that fish have more intelligence/sensory capabilities than previously ever thought. Ever crossed your mind? Just curious.
