I hit the ice road with special guest Josh Mcfaddin who cooks up a crazy meal for me! The ice road equalizes the fishing game so that anyone can get almost anywhere on Lake of the Woods. It's great for those that don't have a ton of gear to reach some prime fishing spots. Come along as we explore the great ice roads! Josh's Channel

Nice video, we just took the ice road from the states to Kenora a couple weeks ago. Great experience. LOTW brewery was an awesome stop for lunch. You should come down to the south end of the lake and do a sturgeon video this spring, I'll show you the ropes and give you a couple good spots if you need.

The ice is cracking as that other truck flies by!
He was going way to fast.
I've been trucking on the ice roads up north, I've seen what happens when you go to fast.
Don't cross the wave your making in front of you.

Don't drive fast. Looks like you were doing a good 50 mph lol. But that road was beautiful. There isn't a lake in MN that has a road that smooth. Usually its about 15 mph max for me but thats mostly because the the bumpy road.

I always watch your videos before everyone else's (fishnmore, in-depth, Jon b, ECT) Because the production or the way you set your videos is the best and most entertaining! Keep it up!

Driving on the ice roads is one of the best ways to fish! One thing to mention is make sure you are making a track of your route. It makes life a lot easier getting off in the dark.

Ice roads are definitely the way to go right now with all the snow we are getting. Mille Lacs is the same way! Nice video!

Normally you have to boil for a long time or pressure cook tongue in order for it to be tender enough to eat
