Try just regular jigging it would work a lot better then a bobber cause you just feel the bite and set the hook and try to get a fast action tip ultra lite rod with some backbone, regular jigging works a lot better in my opinion and its a lot more fun.

My brother caught his biggest bass in brush on a 9. 5 in live bluegill it was almost 11 he hooked it through the nose and had a weight on it like dropshot. You should make a video of you fishing big live bluegill
