I took a road trip across statelines in search of bedding bass and stumbled upon a FIRE hidden creekI Andrew Wolf: How would you suggest making the transiting to a casting rod, I keep grabbing my calls heading to bass pro and then I end up leaving with a spinning reel lol all the bad things people say about casting reels, are they really that hard to learn, my current set up is just Trilene 10 or 8, on a Pflueger President on the same Graphite Bass Pro you have, any suggestions on how I make the transition? Maybe a cheap abu Garcia to get use to it idk?

Come on down to the Crete area. There's a few decent NRDs in Saline, Lancaster & Gage counties. Walnut Creek NRD is what I fish quite often. It's about 5 miles Northeast of Crete. Specially with your boat you can hit the spots we can't hit from the bank.

You need to come fish Kentucky lake near Paris. Do some ledge and bay fishing. I just went out 2 days ago and we easily caught 5-20 bass at each spot. Most of the ledge fish are huge, but I did catch a 7 in one of the bays.

Showing how to un-gut hook a fish was fantastic. I've never seen anyone show that before. You're right, the hooks do not rust out. I've caught bass with hooks in them already and I always try to get them out. Nice work. PEACE

Thats my hometown lake flair. I moved down to Fort Worth last year. I went back home last week and fished that lake too. It was on fire then too.

gave +1 for the guthook explanation. so many people still believe a hook just rusts out. it does but not before a fish gets no food for a year and dies. often.

Great video Great tip I really appreciate that tip to remove the gut hook. I just had to cut one loose because of a gut hook. I will give that a shot next time
