One little thing I like to do when cooking fish in a pan or flat top bbq, is to just cook it in oil and butter. Tablespoon or 2 of butter and maybe the same for oil. Butter adds flavour and the oil is so the butter doesnt burn and goes almost a nice golden colour. Then when it is almost cooked, squeeze a lemon over the hot pan/bbq and the fish to balance and cut through any excess fat.

go with old time cast iron pans for frying - no teflon - you need to go whole hog and do a fish fry/steak grill party - speaking of hogs you need to go hog hunting too - that would be a great excuse to make a nice grill pit - put an apple in its mouth - you can get farm expansion advice - dale wants his own apple tree - before he gets eaten #platform independent

You do not know how to cook catfish you need to deep fry it and cut it up into little nuggets plus if you use liver use pantyhose so you just put the liver in it and twist it the pop that on your hook ps you should come to Oklahoma and learn to catch catfish

My brother and I enjoyed his stories when we stopped by there to get fishing supplies and bait. I like the one where he got drugged around by the catfish he caught that s in the picture by the door. he s a awesome old man. I still want his wolf hide lol

Man, I would love a pair of Flair overalls! I'd take a seize 4X. Love the videos, especially all the catch and cooks. Can't wait till deer and duck season at your house. Put in a food plot and put up some stands.

It would be more efficient and less bloody to just cut around the dorsal fin and half way down each side. Then pull the skin. You will have less of a mess and it is easier

Are the laws in Nebraska different than Michigan? Fishing laws don't apply on private ponds and lake in Michigan. Why is he worried about number of hooks?
