I agree the frog fishing is tough to set.
Its cool when you are going out with your wife and showing her how to fish, but man dont teach her bad habits like trimming your bait and casting it in the lake for the fish to eat the trimming.
Not a good example to viewers and kids.

Polluting and regurgitating false information! The right frog with a couple modifications has as high a hookup ratio as any bait our there! And you're not supposed to wait a few seconds after you see the blow up. When you see the blow up the fish has already inhaled or missed your bait. SMDH

You can increase your hook up ratio by bending the hooks slightly up and out. It makes it more difficult with pads and weeds but hooks up almost every time.
