The Zodias line of crankbait rods from Shimano features cross carbon wrapping called High Power-X. Using this technology has resulted in less line slap on the rod and guides and increased casting distance. The standard rods have more of a parabolic bend that helps in casting as well. The new glass composite rods are thicker and heavier due to the glass put have a great action for casting and retrieving crank baits. The two rods in the Glass series right now are available now are retail for 199. 99 SEE ZODIAS MODEL SPECS HERE

Haven't tried the Zodias, but I recently picked up a St Croix Mojo Bass Glass rod in their 7'4 crankster model 130. Ive been super impressed with the Mojo Bass line especially the newer versions with the SClll carbon blanks that the Avids are made from. I prefer the glass rods over composite for cranking rods, they are much softer

i live two blocks away from the riverbed and I go fishing every weekend. there are fishes. there's bluegills carp catfish and tilapia and every time I go I only can catch small bluegill and I was wondering if you could give me any tips on how and what to use to catch carp and catfish?

Would one of those work decent for casting distance and sensitivity for weightless soft plastics? Like a 6 lizard/ring fry. Or any other rod you would recommend for casting something non aerodynamic and really light

Hi Justin! Sorry if you've answered this question before but I'm getting my first baitcaster this weekend, and looking to spend a little over 200 what's a good rod/reel combo to get?

Hey man I was wondering I just bought a new daiwa zillion yesterday and it makes that same sound yours did when you cast it kind of that winding sound that is normal right

can you compare this rod to the Shimano crucial? I'm debating on either one since no one really makes videos like this. And it'll help me alot if you do make a comparison.

Hey man could you lead me in the right direction for a new rod company? I've broke 3 tcs rods in the past month and don't have the time to start making rods again.

I know this is an old video, but I was hoping you could help me. Can the 76 handle a 10xd or is it too heavy for it to preform right?
