I have a 98 Hydra Sport that I have had since new. I have had 4 trolling motors 2 outboards and 3 trailer axles and new seats. I have had the fever to buy a new boat a couple of times. I just update my electronics or something to pacify myself. This year it was a new minn kota ultrex. I love my boat just can't give it up.

Just saw this vid. Love seeing other peeps comment, and funny to see them quote Dave Ramsey. We all want newer boats, that is what makes us guys. But, if it is in good shape, paid for, and has a motor that is easily worked on when needed, save the. Or, have you already pulled the trigger on replacing it?

KEEP IT! A good reliable boat and motor are hard to come by. Like an awesome wife or a good dog, and you've been blessed with all three! Buff her down, maybe a new wrap, update any needed electronics, give her a new name. The dollars you save can be used for extra date nights with your better half.

Keep it. fish it. don't fix what isn't broke. .start putting money in a savings account like you're making new boat payments and by the time Old Red fails you can put more down on a new boat and save from having less financed.

Does your storage have access to batteries for your batteries? If not what beside charging the night before what would you do or be some good ideas to keep the batteries charged, does one just take the batteries home?

I had a BIG flatbottom for years and somebody took it and it was found in a salvage yard, crushed as well as my spirit. cannot afford another but I'm still plugging and catching

Only reason I would sell would be the HPDI i say you repower with a sho and get some new electronics. Hpdi takes so much maitencd
