For all the non fishing idiots on here talking about how he's holding the bass, first off, he's a former pro fisherman, 2 that's how you land a bass, 3 it keeps them from moving which keeps you from getting hooked from a powerful fish flopping around, 4 they're fierce tough predators that can live 20 plus years. You think holding their jaw is gonna hurt em? Have you ever felt their jaw? They're super tough. And of the thousands of bass I've personally caught, not ever have I broken a jaw. That's the most ignorant thing I've ever heard.

I saw where you were fishing and I remember my grandpa talking about him and his buddy Gene fishing Toledo Bend. They live in Springfield, MO at the time, down the street from the Bass Pro Shop. They used to make their own buzz baits. Miss that guy! Great video!

awesome video like always. wish I had ya go-pro when I found this off the highway all the bass was over 3lbs. all in the canes I was using a black n blue rattling jig. any ideas what I can use fishing the canes/cat tails?

I love frog fishing great video. I have a lot of favorites that i have caught bass on such as Ish's phat frog, spro popping frog, booyah pad crasher just to name a few. Good job!

Pad Crasher Jr. and Horny toad's. I tried the rage tail, but you have to work them faster than the H. toads! so way to many Misses!
