I have never understood why when we use spinning tackle we use our left hand to crank in the line then when we go to a baitcaster we use our right hand to crank in the line. I just thought it was funny when your wife wasn't sure. When I was teaching mine she had asked me about why I use a different hand then she was using. And I explained to her she had a spincast and I had a baitcaster and she told me I understand that but why are you using your other hand. I really didn't have a good answer to give her except to joke around and tell her to shut up and go back to the back of the boat. I'm just wondering if you know why or perhaps someone else that is reading this could tell me.

OSG Nailed it! Love watching you guys as reminds me the days when my wife and I went fishing. Those were some of our best times in life. Thanks for sharing and may God continue to bless you with your healing and as I know may the greatest gift God can give you other than OSG for when that little gift arrives and as I have a feeling it will be. LFG is going to find out she going to be the apple of her daddy's eye and OSG and her are going to LFG fishing and show him how it's done. Pray the God blesses you both with a beautiful health gift of love like her mom. :-)

Yes OSG definitely leaned into a good strong hookset. You should have examined how well the fish was hooked when you unhooked it, it seemed like it was hooked well, made a crunching noise when you removed the hook.
