Fishing for walleye using worms and crankbaits and having with a catch and cook with the wives. Many fisherman will argue this as the best tasting fresh water fish there is. It's certainly delicious!

Seriously? SERIOUSLY? The best tasting freshwater fish? Just shoot me in the head. RIGHT NOW! I grew up in MS. now live in IL. Now. Aside from Central Illinois being the armpit of the planet. I never tasted walleye until I moved here. That was 18 years ago and I am still waiting to actually taste walleye. I think wallpaper paste has more flavor! Give me crappie and blue gill any day! OHHHHH. and please deliver me from the midwest!

Walleye beats crappie. Both good but it's really not even close. Wyoming trip this year we got into them pretty good. Trying Canton Lake in Oklahoma in August in an attempt to land some walleye and what I believe are wiper they all seem to just call hybrids. Good video on the fishing but totally disagree with your mom on the crappie being better part.

Saskatchewan has a lot of great lakes for fishing. More of the same, Pike, Walleye, Perch, Whitefish. Diefenbaker Lake isn't too far from here and it's not uncommon for someone to pull a monster or two out of it.

Yes walleyes May be the best fish to eat out there but yellow perch comes really really close LFG you have to try perch then make your decision on what is better
