LFG this may seem like an odd question but how often do you replace rods and reels? Is it based by season type of usage what? I have been a fisherman for prolly 35 years, however about 3 years ago someone broke into my shed and stole every single rod, reel and lure I owned. As well as my grandfathers tackle box. So I say that because I am trying to figure out what it is going to cost me to get back in business so to speak? Thanks for any advice you might give.

Oh Noooooo Brother!
If you want to get your baits deeper just place a Splitshot of the appropriate weight about 12-14 above the lure and it'll get it down deeper with that heavier line, and the beauty is that it looks like the lure is chasing a meal!

You guys have been teasing us with the new baits for ages now. I think Karls thinks I'm losing my marbles with how often I refresh the new to karl's and Googan Plastics pages. At least a few times per day, hoping to catch them before they sell out of the prime colors.

you need to go over by the harbor marina and do some dock fishing over by that restaurant on the point there is a dock where it will have a gas station on the dock go to the gas station closest to the restaurant that is where the dock fishing will be on fire

You're lucky to be able to get out and fish. They've locked everything down here in Utah state park wise. You aren't allowed to fish in them unless you live in that county. Not many other places to fish. Sucks.

These jerk baits seem pretty dope! Great colors, great hooks, and competitive price! Bought one just before the lockdown, so I have yet to fish it. Cant wait to break mine out and put a hurtin on em.

What line are you using? And I notice you rarely fish with braid to a leader. I hear so many mixed reviews on this topic please help. Oh btw what knot did you tie so quickly with that jerk bait?

that was the number one reason I switched to braid, and ditched flouro line. no more stretching and coiling of the line, and almost no more line snapping off. Equals more fish in the boat.

Nail planks around bottom on the outside. Sandwich the wire between the boards at bottom so it cant be pulled loose. And anywhere it ends. Good luck. He will be back.
