Awesome videos! Just started watching. So here is my bad fishing trip. I know its long but it seemed to never end.
Myself and 3 others started out around 5pm from the house with the boat in tow on our way to the Neches River just south of Rayburn. About 15 miles into our trip we get a flat and have no spare. After sitting on the side of the highway watching traffic for 2 hrs while someone went to get the spare we were back on the road. Another 10 miles down the road we get pulled over because someone forgot to connect the lights. Lucky for us we didn't get a ticket and we should have went home then. We finally get to the gate that leads to the camp/river when I walk behind the truck and realize the boat and trailer are gone. We guessed that since the 4-wheeler was in the back of the truck we never noticed them both missing. We backtracked and found it 10 yards into the woods after a curve. We used the 4-wheeler to pull the boat and trailer from the woods, loaded back up and headed towards the river. When we arrived back at the gate we decide to try to make it as far as we could before using the 4-wheeler to pull the boat the rest of the way. Bad idea! Now the truck is stuck and once again we have to unload the 4-wheeler and start the process of getting the truck out. In do so the driver forgot about breaks and ran into the boat and trailer bending the trailer tongue and dented the tailgate of the truck. Most people would have called it a wrap at this point but nooooo, we decided to stay strong. So off we went with the 4-wheeler pulling us the rest of the way to the sand bar where we will launch. With the boat in the water we get it fired up and ready to go, then it sputters, dies and wont start. Turns out there is water in the fuel tank. We did our best and got the water and fuel separated and got it going again. Fished all night running lines and with poles and caught about 5 fish. Needless to say we will never forget that fishing adventure.

My worst day out on the water (duck hunting not fishing) woke up, jumped into the boat, it was about 4 am in the morning with probably 40 mph gusts and was probably 30 degrees. I had my spot gps marked on my phone but my phone was dead so I figured I would try and find it anyways. The gas gauge didn't work but I had filled it up 2 days prior to huntin and didn't think anyone had used the boat but my brother had ran it almost completely out. So I get to what I think is the spot, throw out decoys, build a duck blind, and wait for sunrise. Didn't even see a duck all morning and then the boat wouldn't start for me to leave to get back home because it was out of gas by then. So I waited and waited for about 6 hours and finally see another boat cruising by and I started screaming and hollering and shooting my gun and I get his attention and it was actually my dad that was on my neighbors boat that had come out looking for me. Come to find out I was about 300 yards away from the spot I had wanted to be at for that morning. My dad picked me up and we towed the boat back to the dock. That was a pretty bad day but I've had much worse days duck hunting.

The day after thanksgiving 2016, I was at Fayette Lake loading my boat after a day of unsucessful fishing my boat went sideways not e trailer bumper so to get it free i backed it further into the water to get it to float aging then get it straight. after I backed it up, this dude next to me was having a worse day. water in his boat because he forgot the plug, then when he tried to put it on the trailer he hit the bunks at a bad angle which sent his boat into a 45degree tilt and killed the engine. he hooked it up, tried to pull it out of the water with his rav 4, then the strap snapped. I had already spent too much time on the ramp trying to assist him so I told him I'd help him after I got my boat on and got off the ramp. Well, I had backed it down to get it off the trailer. in all this mess I forgot where In the process I was and drove the boat back onto the trailer only to realize at the last second that the trailer was too fay in the water. BAM, I slam the boat and trolling motor into the trailer. Embarrassing AF!

this is a little long but 3 22 2018. what a great day of fishing today. first thing i had total hell hooking up the boat. got to ramp the rope got hung up on the trailer boat got hung up on the rocks because of it. then live well wouldn't work. got to where i wanted to fish and got stuck on a log. trolling motor broke and sonar was so dark couldn't see anything. gave up came back had to wait on some ass hole to set up his boat because he had both ramps blocked. then i almost loaded my boat in the back of the truck. then pulled out and sure enough they had fresh oil on the road and it was all over my truck and boat. not sure i can afford another great day of fishing like this again. and to top it off Shellee put her car in my garage where my boat goes so its stuck outside for tonight. thats almost grounds for a Divorce but she scares me. LOL

Today. Got off work and planned to use live bait. Missed bait shop by 1 minute. Went out anyways because whatever, I've got other options. Then over the course of the next two hours, hell ensued. Snagged a heavy lure first cast at a new fishing spot. Put a neon worm on and got a few decent casts in, but no bites. Then got it hung in a tree with a cast that got away from me. It was windy and I probably shouldn't have been out anyways. Another worm and all is going well till I birds nest. Once. twice. three times. finally sort all that out and I'm casting great. Feeling good finally. Slip on the river bank and snap my favorite pole. -. -

my worst day on the water: Middle of April in NY, saltwater temps were probably in the low 50s, I went fishing on a jetty with my friend to go catch some bluefish that been there for about a week. We each caught a bluefish then when we had the blues on the stringer we went to go rinse them off. The stringer broke, losing both of our fish. Then i snagged a big skate(its kinda like a sting ray) when i brought it near the rocks i gave my rod to my friend so i could go un hook it. I slipped on a wet rock falling probably 4ft into the water with 3-5ft swells and hitting rocks on my way down, I just missed a big rock when I hit the water.

On my cousin's brand new boat, the motor died after a 5 minute run down lake. When we went to move spots, it wouldn't turn over. Public lake with a lot of pleasure boaters didn't make the situation any easier. We were being bashed by wakes and stuck with only using the trolling motor to make our runs. We eventually went to the marina to get it looked at, and it turns out the bulb on the fuel line was installed backwards at the manufacturer! It was trying to pull fuel from the motor to the gas tank. After a 2 minute fix we were back in business. Still didn't manage to catch any fish either!

Worst day on the water, I snagged an 8 foot alligator on 3 year old 10 pound test line. That son of a gun jerked me around like a yoyo until the line snapped and l busted my head on the engine! I woke up on the edge of Niagara falls and facing almost certain death. I put on a treble hook with a 1oz weight and missed the shore but hooked an old Maytag refrigerator, which is why I now live in Canada. True story. I still have the handle. To the refrigerator, not the alligator. Alligators don't normally have handles.

I woke up an hour later than i wanted to. Launched the boat and ran to a spot. Realized my trolling motor batteries were dead because my battery charger stopped working. went back to the ramp to trailer the boat and slipped and fell in the water while hooking on the boat, let go and had to go swimming for it. the gator that was 10ft away laughed.

LFG if one of these goobers try to tell you they never ran out of gas, or got skunked while fishing by their selves, or found a bow that they could not shoot, or drew a bow back with a totally ridiculously down right dangerous rest on it, they are lying.
Hang in thur buddy better days are coming.
