Not sure if your see this but when you cooked that Squirrel it was tough as shoe leather. Tip once you skin and clean it, vac pack it and age it in your fridge for min of 7 days then bread it fry and make a graveyard from the oil and then add the fried Squirrel back into the gravy and cover and then cook til when you put a fork in it it will fall off the bone. No more shoe leather.

We piled up a bunch of Xmas trees for our big pond one year, left them for a year to let all the needles fall off, places them in summer. Youre right about the snakes. I pulled a tree off the pile while loading them onto the jon boat and a fat ol water snake fell onto my foot while napping. He took off but my god I about came out of my skin.

All these Nancys in the comment section complaining about scratching the inside of a truck bed have to be office pukes with dishwater hands. You know the kind of people that have never never done any physical labor in their lives, especially labor that requires a truck.

I buy and restore old axes. I have quite a few similar to that one. That axe head design (Rockaway) is my favorite design! I have taken a few 3 1/2lb heads and made them into those. Can be a pain if they're hardened!

They make a red bag of quick concrete that needs little to no sturing for the next time add water from top and it soaks down to the bottom also seen a guy doing this but he used old kiddie pools and made full size Bush

Ok so I know this is Publixs but I dont know how to get in touch with you any other way but it would be a dream of mine to spend a day on the water with you just having fun. My birthday in in April so spawning time!

I hit the jackpot at Lowes the other day. They were giving away all of the left over Christmas trees. 3 truck/trailer loads later and bam, free fish cover! Made my weekend.

Christmas tree ones will be good but all those smaller ones will just slime up and break off pretty quick. Thats if they make the ride to the lake. Better using scrap PVC

When you use a Christmas tree. Take your chain saw and trim out the center section leaving it open so the fish can get up in it. We have done it and it helps immensely.
