Nice catch in one episode. Brooke said you was fully loaded. I could've swear the first thing you would've done was put auto pilot for situations like that. I would definitely add Vic spend the money and put it every boat I had for less 15 years at auto pilot I did not see you bleed any of the fish you don't believe in bleeding specially that Skip Jack. Just curious I wish you would've put that Bonita out there wouldn't that where you saw that crate live Bonita over a crate was a guaranteed hit but maybe you should've put something like a tower where you go through the tea top those extra 10 feet does help every boat I had had a tower once you got a tower you don't go back maybe the next boat you build you learned from each boat your own what you need and what you don't need those buckets are nice, but the naughty roosters are much much better less clutter they go in your live well check them out

This ship is the L. B. Robert, a 335-class liftboat from Seacor Marine. This type of vessel is primarily used in the offshore industry, such as for the installation and maintenance of oil and gas platforms or wind turbines.
The pillars or pipes on the deck are jacking legs. These legs are used to lift the ship above the water surface, allowing it to stand stably on the seabed. This enables heavy construction work to be carried out, such as placing foundations or other offshore structures, without the ship moving due to waves or currents.
The L. B. Robert also has a large cran) and a helicopter platform, which is typical for this type of work vessel to transport personnel and materials.

The L/B Robert is a self-propelled, self-elevating liftboat used for offshore work. It's a 185-foot-long vessel with three legs that can be raised off the water, providing a stable platform for installing, maintaining, and repairing offshore facilities like oil-production platforms and wind turbines.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
Type:
Liftboat (jack-up platform.
Purpose:
Used for offshore construction, maintenance, and repair, particularly of oil and gas platforms and wind turbines.

I have to be honest. I really love your cooking segments and the fishing as well but, ever since you got the boat the consistency of videos has gone way down. Also I'm not a fan of the type of fishing you've been doing on your boat. Please go back to your old ways I'm losing interest

Oh my goodness take that phone put it in a bowl of rice dry rice before a couple of days and will suck all that moisture out and your phone should work fine. Make sure you cover it well and just leave it powered off.

I really wish I could afford a nice pair of sun glasses for when I do my yard and at night with all the cars and trucks with those bright led lights but with a fixed income it's really tough on and old guy who's disabled

Happy Birthday Gabby and Dennis! That meal looked absolutely perfect! Truly beautiful on the plate and sounded delicious! Thank you for the way you show us how to recreate these meals. Have a wonderful week out there!

Love you guys. My phone went into the washer and made it to first spin and it is still alive. I turned it off and took a blow drier to the charging port. Keep up with great videos. I would love to fish with y'all.

I was born and raised in New England and Wisconsin and when I lived in Florida for several years people thought I was a nutshell running around in a t-shirt and shorts but that's just us cold weather people
reply

Great video! Anybody can shoot video showing fish getting reeled in but what sets you apart are all the tips and techniques, the strategies you use. That's what makes us better fishermen! Keep it up!

That vessel is a liftboat. They get next to an oil rig and lift up to do maintenance, construction work, transfer personnel, and equipment. Providing a stable area to work off of above the waves.
reply

My vote is support vessel for offshore rigs.
Have you considered maple syrup for the carrots We are up north, so I put syrup on everything.
Happy birthday Gabby and Dennis!

Nice video man!
Summer can’t come soon enough! These winds we’ve been having to work around here have been nuts between the end of last year and the start of this year!

reply

I have heard those called Jack Boats. They let those pilings down and lift the ship off the water, thereby establishing a stable work platform.

Love the video, very informative stuff! But, really like to know how those Suzuki's are holding up. Are they giving you the performance you wanted
reply

I mean that’s a decent catch but not a dream catch charters we got fish like that every day good catch though just find a rip or a weed pod

Looks like we killed the mahi fishery in south Florida. Once you could routinely catch 20 pound fish now you're lucky to catch a 10 pound fish

Catching Mahi and Wahoo in Cabo is always incredible. Catching fighting fish that taste great is the best especially Wahoo what an incredible fish.
reply

Hey Vic Brooke! Loved this video, with the variety of fish, makes it exciting with every catch. Also, very heroic going in for the phone!

13: 30 the tall pillars are called spuds in construction jargon. Barges have them to anchor into the ground and stabilize the vessel.
