Saw it happen to my brother before with a shook. I don't know if you'll see my comment but yesterday I caught a 3lb mangrove snapper with a bird in it's belly, very wierd.

I use 8 to ten inch cut baits for door mat fluke in nj its not crazy using that big of a bait in my opinion Id rather fish for the record
