My first ever Iguana Catch Clean Cook and certainly wont be my last! These Invasive South Florida Lizards are wreaking havoc and the state highly encourages you to remove them from our natural ecosystem! Before you make a comment on Iguana hunting, remember that it is eaten in many parts of the world as a normal part of peoples diet in many cultures and is high in protein low in fat. These Green Iguanas are Native to Central/South America and parts of the Caribbean, but were Introduced into Florida during the Pet Trade. YOU have to use the link below and order before 2/3/20 to get the FREE Wings for LIFE Deal! Check it out Below! Learn more about Green Iguanas here:

In my country where we are almost out of iguanas because is our traditional plate! In order to kill the iguana you stick a pieze of hard wire on top of his head you will see a small dot you stick it in there until he dies that way he bleeds out that way you get a beter flavor on his meet! When is dead you hold it from the tail and put it on top of fire flame and let it burn for a little bit that make a lot easier to pill it! There is a lot more if you like i can send you a nice reciepe so that you try the true flavor of iguana!

I agree with the other posters. They are an invasive species they are successful because people do not follow the laws. If you catch it, kill it. That's the law. They have caused the extinction of our local lizards and other animals. I do not understand why you and others of your generation do not feel a responsibility to follow the laws and park rules. Boggles my mind. The people you should be listening to are the ones telling you to kill the invasive species, not the idiots telling you to let them go, or leave them alone.

lol brookes mom probably hates victor secretly because she cant cook like he can for her husband. she always looks salty when he talks about how good of a cook victor is.

They play dead because fight, flight, or freeze. theyre not fighters and you just defeated their flight, so inflate yourself and freeze is pretty much the only option.

I live in South Florida and iguana is really tasty if cooked properly. I have a friend from Honduras and his wife makes an iguana stew that's unbelievable.

They taste good. Iguana curry and dumplings is fantastic
I would reccomend you brown the meat with some onions prior to stewing. adds a lot

How did you get so worldly? Chef, fisherman, wildlife expert, seaman, product hawker, gear reviewer, video production editor.
reply

The smaller they are the more tender they are. The large bulls are tough as hell. Their tails almost aren't worth eating
