We've fished with Captain Todd MacGregor of the Charter Boat Mac-Atac several times when we have visited Boston & Providence.
Man, that guy knows those waters like the back of his hand.
He grew up fishing them. He always finds us fish!
We always learn a technique or a secret or two as well.

Great Video, glad you enjoyed you're first blackfishing trip, they don't always go so well. Our season is just about to begin here in NJ, you got me pumped.
Those little things that came out of your Tog belly were barnacles.
Also, they're slow growing fish, the one you cooked would have been about 25 years old.

lol, everywhere on earth, that wrasse/sheepshead family of fish is a bunch of dirty thieves. In San Diego, I have a pretty reliable wrasse spot, they're great tasting fish. and I'd say my hookup ratio is 3 for every 10 hooks put in the water, the other 7 are free snacks for them. And I'm pretty good at it lol!

i would avoid this european cheese because they are made using calves' stomach juice which is animal-rennet. other than that, this dish is interesting. Using Seafood Stock(clam) is Great.

What you have to do in these waters is you have to make your bait dance in order to the fish to bite. Otherwise they won't pay attention unless they're really hungery

Hey, I used to catch those when I was a kid. They were a blast. By the way I bought a rod rack from my reel rack and love it.

Next you go to cape cod, I have a boat and we can go on the south side and catch tons of different species( sea bass, fluke)
