World RECORD Bonnethead Shark! Catch Clean Cook (Sebastian Inlet, Florida)

This may have been a world record sized bonnethead shark! These sharks don't get very big and the world record was 28lbs, so this shark was very close if it didn't beat it! These sharks shouldn't be confused with bonnethead sharks which look very similar, but bonnethead sharks have much blunter heads. Sharks are delicious and have wonderful firm meat, but they must be gutted, bled and iced immediately! Hope you guys enjoy this shark catch clean cook! Ron: Do sharks lay eggs or give live birth? Sharks exhibit a great diversity in reproductive modes. There are oviparous (egg-laying) species and viviparous (live-bearing) species. Oviparous species lay eggs that develop and hatch outside the mother's body with no parental care after the eggs are laid. Jul 29, 2019

Why would you gut and bleed a potential record? Did you even weigh and measure it first, to know it probably wasn t a record? A catch and cook doesn t beat having a video of a record being confirmed, IMO.

That's a good one but there are bigger ones then that around. I've been gigging around the inlet and islands across from it the last few weeks and I've seen a few pushing 4 1/2 - 5 ft.

Hey Vic, in your description it says these sharks shouldn't be confused with bonnethead sharks lol i think you meant to put shouldn't be confused with hammerhead.

Noticed your review on Salty Scales website. Does Joshua Taylor not know you barely wear clothes. Usually your good for shorts and my grandads gardening hat.

That s very cool. I think I messaged you a couple months ago asking if you had ever done a bonnet head catch, clean and cook. Welp, here we are. Nice catch.

You kill the game fishing the shark but you kill the game with the food nice job i hope to see you and Brook fishing again at lease for lobster.

I d love for you to bring some sort of scale to weigh your catches. Sometimes it s hard to tell how big these fish are without a measurement.

Bro give up the random catch and cooks like ur going to be eating seaweed next love ur vids but they are getting repetitive
