I got to live in Alaska three times and if I would have been married the last time I would have tried very hard to talk her into staying. Skeeters can be a pain and well Cold there can be a bit on the really cool side. But keep busy hunting, fishing, Taking pics and coaching kids and man what more could u want. I mean LOOK at the place.

that was an awesome fish. but only 62 pounds out of a 137 pound fish what happened to the other? and just me my friend. but i would have taken the collars too. lots of meat on them too. Wow! What an awesome monster of a fish! I have to say, I was amazed that you, a former charter boat Captain & avid fisherman would not have gotten your gaff & harpoon ready before you put bait in the water. Another excellent video. I love days like that on the ocean. My footage turns out amazing and its so much more enjoyable then fishing in the rain. Next time you go after halibut you should try using a spreader bar. It does the same thing as your rigging but it wont get tangled.

1st DMFD vid I've watched since my father passed last April. We would usually watch these videos together. Great content as always. I just miss my old man's comments showing how amazed he is whenever there is a huge catch.
