Best PC Cases of 2021 So Far: 60 to 200 Airflow, Silence, & Budget Cases
video description
that includes the MAG Forge 100M, 100R and the MPG Gugnir 100M (NOT the 100R that has glass over mesh)
the Forge comes with 3 fans, and the Gugnir comes with 4. I think they are quite competitive for pricing (the Forge is about 60 and the Gugnir about 90 in France, taxes included)

Aerocool eclipse, ximagtex Athena two of the same cases who wants to break you drives... It's the SAME CASE.
While you may think of SSD mounts, which the case provides two points, the total lack of being able to fit the cables and screw down the sdd is a Total oversight!
Both fall into the opposite of air flow and audible vibrations from the front panel, or the quirky internal after the fact filter .
Aerocool did make some nice design changes to accommodate wet cooling. The case is quiet with set speed fans and performance seems good.
But yeah both using the same base case failed to see plainly the mount problem for the SSD.
MSI still bad design as usual, I think they're trying, which is good thing... But ultimately you can't polish turds.
Perhaps they would do well to just replace the front glass with mesh. It's cheaper and would help thermals

Gamers Nexus, that's really exciting. So far I'm leaning to replace my Corsair 450d with a 5000d. Sadly, on my 450d the front panel clips (the push to lock push to release clips) have failed. They're too wibbly wobbly and refuse to keep the front panel attached. Only the cables hanging down keep the front panel from falling off. They haven't even been cycled that many times. I do not clean my case as often as I should -- maybe once a year. I suppose it doesn't make sense for you guys to test cases for continuing to work year after year. I almost want to source new clips since the case is otherwise wonderful, but what if I get the same crap? Still SO EXCITED for my tool bag with the new designed tools. Weird, thought how the logo cuts off the Gamers Nexus text. Was that intentional?

While GPUs had the worst trend currently, cases have been great so far for the past 1.5 - 2 yrs. Case manufacturers now have steered away from the aesthetics of glass panels and closed front enclosures and embracing the Mesh feature. This is what cases should be. Functionality from good airflow and stock fans. And lots of them below 100 are already good.
I was lucky Tecware came up with a new good airflow case when I was looking for one back in November last year. The Tecware Nexus Air has mesh front (360mm), top(240-280), bottom (PSU) all with mesh filters and 4 stock fans (3 front 1 back!)! All just for 50 USD.

I went and decided to pull the trigger on buying my components as piecemeal over time with the Corsair 5000D Airflow as my base. I understand while it isn t the best case, it fits my aesthetic wants and definitely suits my needs. With a case like that, I couldn t hold off on buying the computer I ve been thinking about for awhile (though still waiting for the market to stabilize some).
With that in mind, I just want to thank Gamer s Nexus for its exposure of multiple products. Without your guy s diligent coverage, I wouldn t even be aware of the case let alone using it. Thanks again to the whole team.

Thanks for introducing me to the wolrd of airflow cases, GN!
I bought the lian li lancool 2 mesh to improve gpu thermals and i love it. I was previously unaware of the importance of the case when building a pc and usually spent the least money possible on the case, provided that looks and i/o-panel features were still okay. I am really thankful for your insight and am now convinced that better airflow should usually result in a more silent performance than noise dampening in a case. Keep up the good work!
Oh, and btw, I love your cat content

I love how you test cases, but instead of best noise levels & silence and best noise-normalized thermals i would love to see a case test where all cases use the same fans and you install a gpu with coilwhine or maybe something that can emulate coilwhine and then look at noise-levels. (for example it feels almost impossible to get a mid/high-tier gpu that has no coilwhine .. or maybe a dedicated video define 7 vs. meshify 2 with strong coilwhine, if in this instances a noise dampend case can benefit and how much ?) Still Great Video !

I'm still running an Antec SLK 3000B from the early 2000's. Trying to find a case that is solid panels, no RGB, 1x 5.25 bay, good performance without costing a fortune has so far yielded no success. So I ended up buying some fan spacers to improve airflow and a PCI E 1x cable extender (not from NZXT tho) to move the sound card away from the VGA card. Still waiting on that Antec P10 Flux review, Steve, if you don't hate cases that still have one ODD bay. I use a M-Disc drive and I rather keep using it despite it being not cool .

I am frustrated with the gaming case market and, consequentially, these reviews. My gaming PC doubles up as a multimedia machine. Yes, some of us still use Blu-Rays and DVDs. I also have a 5.25 drive bay integrated into my current PC for backups, allowing me to (re)use bare drives. I'd have no problem shelling out for a premium mid-tower, if it met my needs. At least two 5.25 bays (preferably 3), enough space for a premium (long) graphics card, large (slow) fan(s), quiet, no windows, no lights. Any suggestions?

How hard is to extremely modify the case (for an example; be quiet! Pure Base 500DX ATX Mid Tower Case ) ?
Or is it better option to design your own case, and go to your local CNC shop for making parts + buying fans as well.
To be specific I want micro itx case that supports be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 50.5 CFM CPU Cooler, be quiet! Dark Power Pro 12 1500 W 80+ Titanium Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply, Asus GeForce RTX 3090, and 3/4 140mm fans.
