Dunno if I just have a very good 9900K or what. People are saying left and right that 4. 8k GHz and over on all cores is a furnace on the 9900K. I can do 4. 9GHz on all cores with a Noctua NH-D15. so aircooled. Haven't tried 5. 0GHz. I doubt I could do it. I ran a continuous torture test on the 4. 9GHz all core OC for 24 hours. It was stable, with the highest temp on a core being 85 degrees. Then I used it for a week. Played different games and used it for different operations like CAD, encoding and decrypting. Still stable. I proceeded to settle for 4. 8GHz on all cores because the revving fans were stressing me out, but if you really need that extra performance on a proper air cooler, it's there.

It is November 5th 2019 and this video has been posted 12 hours ago as I writing this comment. This video is important because it marks, the last ever review we will witness in our life time of an Intel overclocking video of a gamer consumer grade Intel CPU. R. I. P. Intel, You will not be remembered, just like Your last year cpus, and the year before and before and before. oh. but yeah we will remember your chiller, and your billions in debts you own after court rulings even after it will be announced You payed them in the future.

Dear Steve/GN, I kindly need to ask you that with this OC vids it would be highly appreciated if you somewhere in the description or comments add a Link where the Maximum OC was reached. otherwise I'm clicking through a 3 hours long vid and try to find that Moment, in which I almost all the time fail: ) thanks a lot! Keep Up the fantastic Work!

Stop playing hjair. Stop playing Hjair. Stop hair. Stop hair I guess could cover lots of things. I've had hair much more luscious than yours and I had no need to constantly put hand to spotty face/hair/infection. Now I have no hair. The chair I am in is electrifyingly good, thanks for asking with a droll masked voice.

It would be interesting in a debrief video to compare air vs LN2 frequencies reached, as well as voltage required to stabilize it. Of course, a lot of them are unreachable on air, so it would show when thermals take over Vcore. EDIT: Same clocks, what Vcore? Same Vcore, what clocks is Steve getting?

Best comment of the stream Cameron Carpenter analog? u mean analogy? LOL WHAT A WANKER he can't even spell analogue. Only the worst type of person corrects people on things they clearly have no clue about, not wanted here in our community (and I mean earth by the way)

But IPC is much more important than clock heater, 4. 0GHz zen2 is more efficient than 6. 0GHz Coffe Lake refresh, Clock Speed is good for overclocking but shit for performance only check Pentium 4 and FX series, highest IPC and less power consumption is better way.

Blah, DFI, those boards where terrible, i should know, i managed the RMA department at a major PC manufacture for 7 years and it blew me away at how much i learned about which companies and parts to most often trust and which to not trust for the most part.

I still think it's funny how youtubers continue to give prime showtime to Intel since it's utterly garbage now. When amd was off the radar no YouTuber would lose this much time with sucky products like this one. Keep trying to feed intelgarbage pockets.
