Cheapest High Airflow Case: 6 Fans for 70 Montech X3 Mesh

Rating: 4.5; Vote: 2
This review benchmarks the budget 70 high airflow case from Montech, the X3 Mesh, for its 6 fans. We also look at build quality, noise levels, some crazy wiring, and more. Until 7/31/21, 33% of all profits from sales of GN posters will be split and donated to the EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation) and to Fight to Repair! Both organizations are focused on repairability of products, reduction of e-waste, and legal protections for consumers to truly own and maintain their own devices.

The cyrpto market has been unstable. People ask themselves if this is the right time to invest? before jumping into conclusion I think you should take a look at things first. Crypto analysts remain divided over the short and medium-term direction of the market, though major investors continue to buy the dip. There s no any reason to panic, as long as you ve investing responsibly. Investors who bought early are still in profit despite the recent price crash and they also earn by trading. I'm an investor and am winning by applying the same method in every trade, you can also become a winner today. We should follow the way of earning more regardless of the current market (bulls or bears) which is trading. This is the best time to double down and buy more buy the dip and trade. I have made over 9 btc profits not just by buying the dip but implementing tradess with signals supplied by Garrick Norman. You can easily get to Garrick on Telegram as [ garrick_fxt].

Quite a portion of that 70 must be shipping cost, considering in my country (South Korea) budget 6-7 fan airflow cases starts at around 30 with similar build quality. (I bet some are made in the same factory in China. I recognize that pivoting side panel especially. That exact glass panel became quite popular 1-2 years ago here.)
As a small system builder I actually prefer thinner and thus lighter cases. Not fun carrying around 20kg cases around the shop for building and shipping haha. Ofc, my own systems get beefier cases though.
Well I think if you're not going to ship your case somewhere, I have no problem with thinner cases as long as the cost reduction is partially shared with the customer.

I just helped my room mate buddy build a new PC in a Modtech AIR 100 ARGB case. I was very impressed with his choice. 4x120mm addressable fans with a fan hub, Nice compact MATX, just what he needs. He's not PC building savvy at all, I just told him to avoid glass front for best airflow.
The ONLY con was, there's not enough clearance to break out the PCI slot covers with out scraping the motherboard. Make sure you break out the PCI slot covers FIRST before you put the motherboard in. We tried bending them out of the case, but it ended up bending the dividers. We had to take the whole motherboard out and bend them in and back.

just a heads up do pay attention to the fans i have this case been using it for about two months with in the first week my fans locked up and started heating up bad. the only reason i noticed was cause of the smell but i will say this the company was quick to respawn and fix the problem for me so i would do business with them again real quick. also the case is really good for airflow i think its worth it

A customers acer motherboard went kaputs. Couldnt put new board in his case since it was proprietary af so i just did a build in this case like 1 week ago. I was surprised for the features to it had. The build quality wasn t there but it had a psu shroud, decent airflow and fans for cheaper than anything else out there. Great case for truely budget builds

I personally bought a Kolink Observatory Lite Mesh case. They seem to be mostly European but they're OK cases for the price. At least when it comes to fan (4 pre installed ARGB fans) it comes with a controller and not molex. The front IO PCB is visible though and the cables are very rigid. It's also shorter like this one is.

The fan screws on the inside of the case problem is one of several reasons I use M4 bolts, washers and nuts to secure all of my case fans instead of using the crude fan screws they want you to use. c:
I can use the same bolts to secure those fans to radiators, using the washers to prevent scratching or unexpected vibrations.

I m glad to see montech do well as a budget choice being they re a brand new company. Currently running an 850W PSU from then with no issues in a friends build for about 6 months now. He even has a basic OC on his CPU. I hope to see them do good once the PSU testing is published. We might have a good new company

Placing a fan in one of those PSU shroud mounts blowing upwards could have a very big improvement in GPU temps even if it's just redirecting air from the lower front intake fan to go more upwards. GPUs generally struggle with air recirculation which can be solved by forcing airflow upwards past the GPU.

It's much better then my 12 year old case. For 70 bucks and six fans it beats it silly. My case doesn't even have place for SSDs and cable managment. But I managed to fight with those problems and my temps are great. I did everything to invest in other parts of PC like CPU, RAM, MBO and GPU.
