Nvidia showing off 500 Hz displays... At a time when even the 240Hz is excessive and none of the Nvidia hardware can even allow you to reach anywhere near 240 FPS in 1440p or 4K. Right now, the only 240 Hz screen worth anything is a 1080p one. Because once in a while, you reach 240 fps while using that refresh rate. Nice catch 22 when most people are unaware that you're as lag/stutter-free playing at 60 FPS than you are while playing at 200 FPS. The only advantage of having a higher refresh rate and FPS is the absence(or reduction thereof) of motion-blur while movement is happening on your screen. Your game doesn't perform any better for it. It's a pure quality upgrade

I just realised that Zen 4 having some RDNA2 graphics means people can build NAS and Home Servers without dumpster diving into second hand market especially in places where second hard markets are brutal. All Ryzen CPUs always supported ECC, one only needed a compatible motherboard, but problem was not having any graphics onboard, so you either had to use a dedicated GPU, atleast temporarily or find Ryzen pro series APUs are regular APUs did not support ECC only CPUs and Ryzen Pro APUs.

The MSI Pro board looks cool. Seem it is prepping for a EKWB CPU cooler with VRM cooling. Simillar to the Intel counterpart. Allowing one to use a CPU block to cool the VRM without removing the VRM cooler. (the little flat lip on the left side) This is cool cause anyone can get benefit of VRM water cooling without any extra loops or removal of VRM cooler. With more vendors would go that route.

I found the MSI segment of this video particularly entertaining and helpful. Clearly, MSI have gone utterly bananas and as a consequence the likelihood of my purchasing their products has gone down even further.

I did a double-take when I heard the company name Streacom because it really sounded like yesteryear's Global King of Networking Stuff 3com. Honestly, the similarity is so conspicuous, it's hard to chalk up to coincidence. It'd be like if Mike Rowe started a software company and named in MikeRoweSoft.

I don't see why Antec isn't more popular. D600/D700 cases are some of the better bargains out there in terms of price/performance due to the amount of fans you get as standard and one of the few that even bothers to mount a fan blowing air at the GPU.
Their new one looks weird tho.

tbf, CoolerMaster Master Cooler is genius, and I hope whoever came up with that gets a raise and is now solely in charge of branding and naming at CoolerMaster and the chief cooler designer has the title of Cooler Master at CoolerMaster in charge of the MasterCooling department.
