These cases are practically useless for my build configurations. With programmable RGB, I can probably use those as temperature gauges if the hardware has proper temp probes to accurately read temperatures (even graphics cards have temp readers of varying quality depending on the brand. Liquid cooling would be great if I want thermal capacity, but I would only use them if the situation is not friendly with air cooling. Situations like CPU and GPU(s) dumping more heat to the internal case than the case fans pushing air to and from ambient. The rest of the computer parts would not appreciate getting getting warmed like that. The RAM and chipset heatsinks are useless when they just take in the heat produced by the CPU/GPU when their cooling system dumps heat into the computer.

If case manufacturers are going to insist on sticking RGB fans behind big glass panels at the front of the case, and it appears they are, for the love of god can someone please make an RGB LED ring with mounting holes that match a 120mm fan? That way, the case manufacturers can just stick glowing rings in the front of the case to look pretty, and then use boring non-RGB fans for bottom intake and top/rear exhaust that actually do something useful! If your case doesn t have room for a decent front intake, that s fine. Bottom intake is fine. Just stop using up all the budget for fans on front-mount RGB fans that don t do anything for airflow. Separate out the fan from the RGB and everyone can go home happy.

I wouldn't necessarily call the diyers copy cats. Distro plates and distribution panels started with diyers. Then, as cnc machines became more affordable in recent years, that's when distros started popping up everywhere. That's when case manufacturers stepped in and capitalized on the trend. Smart on there part, but now everytime I diyer starts getting noticed for something they make, the case manufacturers have already gotten the credit for it. I've had my stuff copied before and it blows. But hey, what can you do. That's why I'm mostly in the custom part of things. I make people custom stuff based off there designs and ideas.

Hey Steve, first of all I'm a big fan of GN but I see there are some informations are misleading about that CyberPowerPC's o11 distro plate. 1. It's exactly the same Distro Plate as bitspower touchaqua sedna o11d but with a different logo. 2. the pump is not D5 but a S1 pump (DDC like but worse, It's more noisy and weaker than a normal DDC pump. The worse thing is that you can't swith a D5 pump into it, you can only buy a Bitspower premiun pump top with a DDC bump to replace the original one.

I've got a great idea for case manufacturers. I did this mod to my P400S and it's reduced dust, dropped temperatures, and decreased noise to the point where unless I'm rendering or gaming my system is nearly noiseless. Remove the side panel, configure fans to push air away from components (thus pushing most dust away too, then throw the side panel away and enjoy your clearer-than-glass view of your PC. 0 mod turned my case from one of the worst I've had to easily the best.

If you're considering Cyberpower I'd be careful. I bought a system on a deep discount mostly for the components but the build quality was total garbage. Wiring was horrific and there were even connectors held together with a combo of masking and scotch tape. Total amateur hour. Lots of driver and firmware issues out the box too. Thankfully I'm in the business but it still took hours to fix everything. Ended up rebuilding it a few months later anyways.

I d like to see a case that has the gull wing window from the view, but the internal layout of the 011 dynamic. The PSU being in the back would allow you to lower the motherboard. That along with the extra depth would allow for a radiator up top even with the gull wing giving you all of the coolness of the curved glass without the drawbacks. I d angle the top radiator bracket so you can see the fans too. That s my dream case.

I have the EK distro plate in the front panel of my o11 dynamic and its sickkkkkkkkkk. Bought it off of their website and it looks so good in the case. Just be careful of scratching it. It dos make it difficult to mount a second radiator in the side panel. I was able to get a slim 360 ek radiator behind the side mount with the fans almost touching the back panel.

You can buy an O11 distro plate from newegg in 10 days time now (its the EKWB plate, now being released on Newegg on the 17th of January, and I remember seeing them for sale somewhere in the US (One of the chain PC part stores) (MicroCenter sells replacement distro blocks for their EK partnership, idk exactly how they are being sold tho)

I like tempered glass because I enjoy seeing my components, but. I do not like tempered front glass. Dont get me going on RGB. Waste of R&D resources that could be spent on improving performance and function. Come on companies. You want our money, give us what we want. 90 percent of gamers nexus watchers would agree. with me.
