I bought mine late last year and, based on Arctic's website, my Liquid Freezer II is affected. I'm really glad they announce it out, publicly even, to help their users resolve this. I had just sent out a request for the service kit, and it seems there are no restrictions to where you're from (unlike a few other RMAs I had in the past). I'm based in Singapore, and it seems they will even ship out the replacement here, where at most times when the recall is in the US or Europe, the very same model here is not eligible for it and not backed by the distributor.

Where are the bar graphs showing temperatures before and after the fix? I double-checked to see if this was GN and not Extras ;)
A quick benchmark is definitely called for, we need to know whether this example was already problematic, or not an issue still and would become one only years from now.
Since the rubber reacted with the copper, surely the products didn't just stay in the fins and some of that is floating in the system. Does it have a chance of potentially restarting the reaction?

I just bought a Liquid Freezer II 360 ARGB unit last month after watching Steve giving the product high praises. It is performing very well in cooling Ryzen 5900x. Manufacture date of March 2022. No QC stickers on the rad or the box, means it is not a repaired unit.
Steve, Please ask if Arctic will ship those repair kits worldwide. I am in India and checked with the importer, and they have no information on these kits as of August 23.

One thing to keep in mind if anyone decides to swap the liquid inside for a diy solution, say cryofuel keep in mind that cryofuel is designed to be used in all copper or all aluminium loops and doesn't have as aggressive corrosion inhibitors (if any) as the AIO liquid, so long term swapping the liquid out could lead to galvanic corossion since the Liquid Freezer 2 line like many other AIOs uses a copper cold plate with an aluminium rad

A case study in how to fund the quick resolution of a defective part from your PR and Marketing budget in such a way as to make sure that everyone thinks better of you by the end. In the near future a lot of people are going to trying to cool the new high end CPUs from Intel and AMD (350W peak at least for Intel) and Arctic may have just made itself the default option for anyone watching this video.

I bought a used Arctic Liquid Freezer II that was missing half the mounting hardware, and to my surprise the first email I sent got a quick reply from an actual human and not some auto reply nonsense. I had included pictures of all the bits I had, so all they asked me for was a shipping address. In a few weeks, I had the AiO up and running with practically no hassle. Arctic knows what's good.

Props to Arctic, that's a gigachad move. I was just about to decide between 3 brands for a few GPU, a few CPU coolers and a new stock of fans to stock up and this swayed my decision in favor of arctic. Personally I don't care about 1-2 degrees difference in a product, but I care about companies being responsible with their products.
Shopping Cart is loaded, let's go Arctic!

In my opinion arctic is one of the best companies we have rn... Great products, great price and good service...
btw. if anyone thinks there is a problem with galvanic corrosion when using other liquid than the one that's in the AiO from the factor... my cheap eBay fractal celsius works fine after almost 3 years with 100 % EK cryofuel, after the previous owner drained it...

It always baffles me that despite usually being the cheapest (or bang for buck) option in stores at least here in Germany, Arctic never disappoints in quality and has an excellent service. Dunno how they do it, but they earned their place in every PC I built so far, even though in my very first one I only bought their cooler because it was the cheapest one in stock.

Really appreciate this PSA and Arctic's attitude towards the issue. Not noticed a leak on mine (bought following GN reviews and assurity that Arctic know their beans when it comes to PC cooling) but have emailed them to see if a repair kit is sent out on a just in case basis. I really don;t fancy dealing with a water damaged motherboard or GPU right now.

This is how you keep your customers... I bought a 280 in december 2020, but I actually installed it in my pc only last month(it's long story), and for now everything looks fine...
I will contact support to see if it's one the affected one.
And BTW, the companies are really scared of Gamers Nexus! :D Good on you Steve, keep up the good work!

Seriously amazing for Arctic to get this info out there proactively. I've bought a 280, a 360, and a 420 from them and have recommended to a number of people who I know have bought them. Due to this response and their overall great attitude towards their consumers I will continue to buy more Arctic products and recommend them warmly to everyone.
