AMD is happy to support GPU overprice to sell more console chips to sony/ms (+ continue selling overpriced AF GPUs of course).
the only thing that looks weird is AMD apparently don't understand that without affordable new GPUs that are way faster nobody really needs new CPUs. they shot themselves in the balls by supporting ngreedia's overprice in GPU space and now their CPU sales are way down.
and ngreedia don't really care about selling GPUs at all anymore. all they care about is selling their laggy GaaS subscriptions. that explains everything they do. servers they make can be used for AI/GaaS and bring money constantly, also they are selling server time to multiple users simultaneously, so the same silicon is basically sold 10-20-even more times, in contrast GPUs are sold once and thats it. no more profit & they have to share profits with AIB manufacturers.
so ngreedia kill PC gaming, don't make faster GPUs with higher VRAMs and affordable prices and sane gamers are stuck with playing games with morally obsolete engines or on morally obsolete low-res screens, because affordable GPUs are way too slow.
1440p is currently the norm in PC hardware and ngreedia GPUs are way too slow for 1440p gaming, even 4090. ngreedia is killing PC gaming on purpose to sell GaaS that doesn't make sense to PC gamers due to latency.

A mouse with a customizable sensor location is a feature I've long wanted and am glad to see show up, if only in the Magnum Opus (to date). Ever since optical sensors first became a thing, sensor location has been a significant determining factor for what mouse I purchase. While I'm well past the age where I can be competitive in shooters, I still have preferences honed over decades. Sensors that are off-axis (left-to-right) have always been a no-go and mice where the sensor is located too far back (towards the heel) are also undesirable. This leaves a relatively small window, granted, one that most mice now employ, but being able to fine tune it to a personal sweet spot is a welcome addition. I hope it sees a wider adoption among higher end products.
As for Pure Pwnage, they did a lot of filming in me neighbourhood (and my work place) at the time and was pleased for them to have had success with the project. I recall a public screening at a local theatre for one of the episodes being a fairly rowdy, but overall fun affair. It's always fun to see it referenced so many years later.
Thanks for all you do Steve and Co., you're all a real boon to the hardware community. (and one of the only reasons I still count myself as a part of said community)

The first time I tried to install that particular AMD driver, I noticed that it had Factory Reset selected and had a Recommended flag next to it, instead of Optional like it normally does. I turned it off and did the update without issue. I do not know if I had any Windows updates sneaking in but I had no issues none the less. Strange thing is that the factory reset is supposed to disable Windows updates, too but I guess that is after the restart. On a side note, I had to reinstall Windows on my PC a couple of times this past week and the first attempt kinda got borked and some WIndows updates would not install,including the latest cumulitive update. It simply would not try to install it again and trust me,I ran SFC and DISM (DISM actually failed every time with something about an illegal something or other not being correct) and I was forced to try to use this buggy driver as the best one I could find at the time and I forgot to untick the factory reset. Innacessable Boot Device. Yup. Wiped the drive in my BIOS and reinstalled. Worked fine this time. Remember to reset BIOS to defaults before installing Windows, people. OCs,XMPs and everything else.

Still have my cm 200mm blue led from 2010. Still have a nfp15 140(the 120mm hole 140mm fan) from then too!
Still have the 2500k 4ghz under an h50 with push pull Silverstone AP 120s!(holy s those were the best fans ever!)
Point being, get Arctic p12 for anything today unless you want to go uni or want to go lifetime and then just get some Noctua redux or ippc!

Quick point that the node development naming is grosely missleading. Der8auer did a video comparing Intel 14nm and AMD 7nm. While AMD's 7nm were smaller, they were just slightly smaller and nowhere close to half the size. Neither naming convention refers to the gate size like it used to, it's more about just showing improvements in the transister architecture than the name correlating to a physical measurement.
So, as I said back in the day that AMD's 7nm wasn't magically better than Intel's 14nm, I'll say the same thing here. Intel 2nm or 1.8nm isn't going to magically make a better CPU than the current AMD 7nm. It will be an improved process (as happens every year) but it will be more of the incremental improvement we see each year rather than a massive leap.

In regards to the amd driver issue, I had heard about it a few weeks ago and was afraid to update my drivers. Then I read that there is a factory reset checkbox and that was the cause. I ran the update and it went fine, I'm very glad I didn't have a windows update going too...
As far as the mouse goes, I use a wired Steelseries mouse and only because it has a cool motorcycle helmet decal and a single color LED on it. It does all the clicking and mouse wheeling I could need. My skills in competitive gaming are such that a good mouse is wasted money.

I actually had the AMD driver bug, and it didn't happen just by doing an AMD factory reset during a windows update, I'd just updated windows recently and wanted to DDU to reinstall my AMD drivers fresh after that since I'd been running Nvidia for years and an AMD card before that on the same install and was using an RX 6700 XT now. Went into safe mode, DDU'd the drivers, and on reboot Windows kept saying it couldn't find the boot manager files, even though with a Windows install disc I navigated to the folder they're supposed to be in and they were there.

good thing for slider control. the rant about your personal potential revenue loss i'm not sure people need to know or do they? over 8 mins of complaining closer to 10. we get it you work hard as a tuber/content creator and want to recieve all montary gain from your content but that should have been left behind the scene or straigt to the point and kept very short if you had to say something to give light to it. geeeshhhhhhh.. great content after 8:43 anything befor 8:43 after just shoot me.

One thing dont understand is that when we try to upscale & reconstruct an old video in softwares like topaz video ai or any ai upscaler it takes many hours to do it while using most of my GPU power which is a 3060Ti with 2nd gen tensor cores. But then VSR is doing the same thing instantly over live stream !! Why cant i do it with videos with that speed ? Or is there a nvidia solution i dont know about ! .. Please, if anyone can educate me regarding this issue i would really appreciate it.

Wouldn't the ring essentially completely prevent the stress on the blades, since force in every direction is countered by equal forced in the opposite direction on the other end of the ring?
Also I wonder how those blue coolermaster fans would look in the blue Montech SKY TWO case. I don't think it's an identical blue, but you can still end up with a cohesive look with a couple different shades of blue. There's a blue z690 MSI motherboard that's very similar as well.

Said this a million times; as tech gets more advanced, it gets less reliable. I don't know what has been going on lately, but ever since around Christmas I have been getting WHEA errors as viewed through event viewer. Been getting random crashes and finally looked into it today. Showed as processor core error. I updated my bios and seems like the issues went away.(x570/5950) I actually realized my last bios update was Christmas, so it all makes sense.

Where it would install the driver for the 6600m but then Windows or MSIs Dragon Center would then install a driver that wasn't for the 6600M and I would have to do it all again but by not using factory reset. Use DDU restart and then install

The dance you have to do, so you can update your system in Windows is amusing, but also tragic. I can't imagine going back to Windows. Updating my entire drivers, user apps and the os itself with a single command. And it's done in a few minutes. At most one restart of the system and it's fully done. I only need to run one commandline and type in my password.

You can't expect anything better from Razer , thats their quality , if a mouse can't work for even a year without mechanical failure (Basilisk v2) and cost 80 then the 200 + will do the same doesn't matter the price the quality is the same garbage. When you 'sell a product with opto-mechanical switches without doubleclick etc and in a year that happens...
