If you ask me, AMD GPU's have some issues in drivers more than anything, for me. They have had some issues in games like world of warcraft and few others, where it has taken them ages to fix an issue that actually causes driver crash, and it makes it extremely problematic to recommend and consider keeping/getting new AMD gpu. If they don't acknowledge issues, and make customers feel like they actually are working to fix these issues, just means that at least customers like myself with high end cards will simply consider Nvidia next time again. What other option do I have, if it feels like that's my only option to have a decent experience just playing games. That's why I have these cards. Some of AMD's issues have lasted over a year and they don't even acknowledge them in driver notes anymore. Detail and care in acknowledging their customers is the longterm key to success.

The AMD gpu are great, BUT unfortunately the software sucks, I had many encounters before about it's software and seriously I could not get a round with it, sometimes I have to not update the software because it becomes unstable, reverting back from the old driver was the only solution. They say the ADRENALINE software is becoming better and better, unfortunately again base on my experience just a couple of weeks ago from ADRENALINE DRIVERS I had issues with some games and I have to exchange it to another RTX GPU. Nvidia is also not perfect but I never had any major problem with it. And I'd been using Nvidia gpu for a while now. In my builds I always recommend Nvidia gpu, to the hardcore fans of the adrenaline software, sorry but it is just base on my experience.

imagine waking up in the morning to find out that your dealing many many fronts ....intel gpu backend and nvidia blackwell and rubin multiple front, poor AMD ...nobody gonna give amd a break...AMD definite gonna throw white towel soon enough, just like 3dfx did...when finding out that your $6 billion gpu division only made $900 million for entire year. Bad part...amd is holding by thread by Microsoft sales ...once nobody buys xbox...radeon is doomed for everything, rdna5 or not....AMD just seen writings on the wall...nobody gonna buy their gpu for their next consoles. And it seems AMD don't want to have high end gpu's eating consoles revenue. Bad for them when making 7900xtx...nobody gonna buy downgrade consoles ...like ps5

Intel is becoming what ATI did in early days...its normal when ATI entering gpu market with RAGE while taking backseat like Intel ARC is currently doing when AMD vs NVIDIA...is like 3dfx vs NVIDIA when ATI only have lowed end RAGE128 eating 3dfx low end cards sales. I believe celestial is 1st Radeon moment in making performance breakthrough, while Druid be 1st gpu give first traded blow to Rubin architecture, thats when jensen get shock first time with first damage that is not knockout but make Jensen bleed that not seen for a very long long time that make him very serious competition again since ATI back in his days ...sweat bullets very hard in architecture give them hell mode release until INTEL spend huge sums of money

Gmaers Nexus Please Help! I have a decent PC that I built myself. I've done this several times and nevel had a problem. But this particular setup causes me endless problems. It crashes randomly. I reinstalled Windows several times, added and subracted parts and software, ran test after test, etc. Ultimately it gets better for a while and then goes back to the same thing after some time has passed. I am at my witts end, I can't afford to bring it in anywhere. According to Linus I'm probably better off just buying a new PC rather than bringing it in. But I can't afford it. I'm about ready to just sell it off for parts and buy an Apple. I really don't want an Apple. Please please help.

I think it's more than just buying and not knowing what to do with these companies. They don't care, as long as they continue to buy up ANY competition. It's a long term strategy to remain the bigger fish. You just buy up and coming companies as well as the larger current companies and you'll remain the big fish. It's crazy that their allowed to just buy buy buy in that way as it will always result in being overall damaging long term for the gaming industry as a whole. That model is basically the same model that lots of these massive companies do around the world, just buy up everything and remain dominant in that way.

If you don't want to suffer the nonsense that is Windows, AMD GPUs are and have been the best option for years. Intel is in a solid second place and NVIDIA is dead last and by a long, long way. I'm glad that NVK and the nouveau effort is making NVIDIA more viable on Linux lately, but I bought an AMD Radeon RX 7800XT a few months back and it has been amazing. I have an NVIDIA RTX3070 in my laptop and it has been a huge pile of trash since I got it except if I suffer through using Windows, but at least now it's getting a lot better because of NVK and the open source efforts.

Can the government please make it where these parent game companies can not shut down their daughter companies without getting sued for something like each and every employees yearly salary times 20. That would immediately prevent the parent companies from shutting down all these daughter companies because they did not make the parent company enough money. Either that or the parent companies would no longer have the power to shut down the daughter companies without authorization from half of the daughter company's employees.

Generative AI is huge and AMD is not being used for anything. All the programming is done with Cuda architecture. They've missed out on the AI market and will never catch up. For CPU's it's less critical, considering they're not being used for training models. I actually think AMD chips are better than Intel, especially for backwards compatibility, ironically. Non-hybrid cores are the best for older programs. But yeah... their future is grim. I'm surprised they even had 2% growth. Should've bene negative all the way.

I despise Microsoft. Honestly the recent game studio closures didn’t offend me personally, I didn’t play any games made those studios. Though I was a huge fan of command & conquer so I understand people’s rage. Really this just more icing on the shit cake, on top of the spyware, the garbage ad filled os, the suffocating grip on the pc world and shitty business practices. Join me in penguin land, never buy another Microsoft product and tell bill gates to go pound sand.

I highly doubt that Microsoft is selling these companies simply due to them failing to meet expectations. Especially since you mentioned they're also selling ones that did meet those expectations.
Usually when corporations purchase companies and then sell them quickly it's because they only purchased them for intellectual property or patents. It would be interesting to see just what Microsoft took with them on their way out the door before they were sold.

Kinda wild to hear about nVidia's GPUs just getting more and more troublesome but they're winning marketshare still Yeesh
Also the thing with Microsoft is even more cynical than that, imo. They're just becoming the only big publisher that there is so just killing off the competition is the only goal. They don't need there to be more Microsoft games, they just need there to be less big games that aren't microsoft. It's just scorched earth

AMD drivers having to many driver issues, start making a list each driver of user reported issues and its roughly around 60 issues reported consistently every driver release for 24.2.1 24.3.1 and 24.4.1 so far, with basically 99% of the issues being ignored.
Before you say their are no driver issues, look at the release notes at the known issues, yeah AMD are admitting it them self, however most will get ignored.

I mean, you really can't blame MS for saying GET THE F OUT YOU PERVERTED AND INCOMPETENT JERK OFFS with Blizzard, but because they do it to a studio that produced 2 INCREDIBLY niche games that didn't exactly get much sales and much accolades beyond They're enjoyable enough, but.....both have a lot of problems.....and they're nothing new...... they're loose cannon monsters.... What......

I just got a 7000 series amd gpu coming from the gtx 970 cause nvidia prices are ludicrous. Going amd was a no brainer. And amd cpu coming from intel 6700k cause the power draw on intel made them disqualified. The only reason i had gotten the i7 before was for its cache size and intel still hadnt realized it nearly a decade later but atleast amd did.

always a lot of fun listening to these as I get ready for bed. funny how many out of touch BusinessGuys don't seem to really understand what an Announcement is for; it's gotta come from the meeting that could've been an email gene, right I can imagine every SINGLE manager I've ever had pulling somethin like that.

0:56 , no they know exactly what there doing , there in a top market position and are making sure they control and can kill/promote/manuilpate the potential competition/assets ,its worth throwing a little money around to avoid having to unoptimized your business to compete with or contain a threat in your lane.

Don't understand the idea of buying studios to stop people from going to competition for two reasons. First, they fire a lot of people and those people will just go to the competition. Second, it is video games. If two good games come out, even at the same time (which is rare), I would get both.

I had a normal hard drive based Zune in that off brown color (that I actually really liked). Then the 32GB Zune HD. I still had the games from the Zune store installed after that app store closed down and managed to keep Goosplat. Best mobile game 10/10. Also PGR because it was neat.
