why is any of us surprised..... they did the same shit for chips when everyone was mining etherium. I was a buyer from all the top distributors and none of them were receiving video cards because most of them were being sold in on the black market for 2 to 2.5x the amount they could sell them to the distributors. Of course the distributors were ramping up their prices also and asking for us to buy other pc parts with the cards. But i spoke to a guy from honkong who wanted to sell us 250 000$ worth or of EVGA cards and some other brands ... yet the distributors were getting loads of 50 cards instead of 500 cards. Nvidia knew about this ... they didint do shit because they knew that once everyone raised the prices they could sell their cards 2000$ instead of 900-1200$ for the top end cards. Now the prices are insane and have stayed insane. This isint new..... the governement has left every compagny in the biggest country roam and do what they want bypassing the monopoly laws. Anything goes !

fair use afaik would be taking bloombergs clip and using it to make commentary sattire or criticism of the clip itself or bloomberg
for example bloomberg lied on video and heres the clip
you didnt do that you took bloombergs clip and used ti to make commentary on trump and the goverment
at no point did you make commentary sattire or criticism on bloomberg
it would be like me posting clips from your reviews on the latest product launch of something to be used to talk about the product
you would no sooner say that my use of your clips was not fair use because my inclusion of them was not to showcase the video or use it for commentary but to lazily acquire footage for personal gain
BUT the arguments of monopolization of the truth are interesting and something that should be clarified

Steve I understand you want to bring the corruption and all. However, in all times on the history there is this proof of concept David vs Goliath does not favor David most of the times. Just be careful about fighting these Giants,they can be dangerous when it comes to their own business and money. There is no intention here to push you like you can do this or whatever, discourage you to close the case. But if I were you I wouldn't try to fight billion dollars corporations just to prove that they are corrupt because we all know them,they are in one way or another. You are right about fair use and we all know that!

I feel like we need to bring back public shaming like this. If people aren't going to be held accountable by the law for their wrong doings and breaking the social contract, they need to be shamed into the oblivion. There's so many instances of people just doing whatever the hell they want and getting away with it. We need to bring back booing people as they walk down the street. And now we have more methods of shaming in the form of social media. If we keep allowing people to get away with anything and everything then what's the point of the social contract or just laws in general

When I didn't know any better, you helped me buy solid pc parts and taught me how to make informed purchases myself, don't even need to watch your reviews necessarily anymore, I can just sniff out BS, and I attribute a lot of that to your content. Good luck with the case, also file against them for making you lose views and money, file against them for you having to file against them, and ask for compensation. The only way to hurt big companies is to ask big amount of money. Only money hurts them.

Similar case in India as well. Alot of creators are getting strikes from another media corp ANI. They then extort the creators for 50-100k $ to remove the strike under the guise of a forced subscription.
