It's a matter of confidence
Intel feels cornered, plain and simple, AMD has catched them with their pants off and there's no scape route, they can't win either on desktop or servers, and mobile is in jeopardy, and since they have been so complacent for so much time they don't know how to compete AT ALL. Intel doesn't have confidence in themselves or their product, that's why they are so conscious about AMD
NVidia knows what's on, they have a product that directly feels superior than the coming consoles that wear an AMD GPU, they don't have to tell people to not switch to AMD's side, they just need to tell 10, 16 and 20 GPUs owners to jump into the 30 line

I think they should really sell this 7-14 watt chips for HTPC usage... I really want a propper htpc setup but im not using power hungry desktop chips. Even the 3400g is not efficient enough in idle or when playing video.
That would add a significant chunk to my power bill and with kwh prices going up a average of 5% a year here (and accelerating) i want a near no idle cost and a really low use cost. (Damn you nvidia your gpu will cost me 450 bucks more then my 1070 over 4 years in just power!). Oh well companies clearly have no clue what consumers really want anyway so manby in 2050 when green deals enforce low power usage.

Watching this video and the comments is like watching hard core left wing liberals.
When Intel was comparing to Intel, Why you don't compare to AMD?
Now when Intel compares to AMD, Why you compare to AMD?
When Intel didn't do benchmarks Why no benchmarks??
When Intel does benchmarks Why benchmarks??
Nice bias, keep it up...

The real question is, why the hell is a laptop with a 4 core CPU important at all? They make it sound like the invention of the wheel, yet we're still looking at a measly 4 cores!? Intel's stuck in the past...
Why the hell would I be interested in running Vray or Premiere on a 4c CPU? You mad? What a waste of time would that be!

1:52 Imitators that use benchmarks like: Cinebench, Blender, video encoding and file compression. Those are not real world benchmarks .
Here are AI Image Upscaling benchmarks, we know you play this game with your friends a lot and unlike AMD, we added dedicated AI accelerators - real world benchmarks , you know...

Very cool, they're competing against AMD. With what, exatcly? I don't know. They state that it's better than the competition but what is, exactly? Mystery of the year...
Also, hold on. Imitators??? Was it AMD that started shoving cores into their processors after their competition started doing so?

Alright I picked something up in the whole presentation benchmarks.
The new 11th gen Intel cpu doesnt have an U designation, and they were comparing it to an U sku AMD cpu. Was the Intel one confirmed to be a low power CPU, or were they comparing a 45/35W unit to a 15W unit?

Intel are in desperate trouble at the moment. It was a terrible presentation. Saying they like real world performance figures then use 3dmark firestrike benchmark! What a joke. Thank you and for providing some much needed competition in the CPU market.

Inept is what you call Intel. lol AMD Has never lead in IPC yet you reviewers see only more cores . tiger lake beats 8 core ryzen in multi thread workloads. Intel xe is 50 faster than AMD igpu. You sound vary bitter.

I kind of hope AMD rises above this but just leaves in some small sassy remark in their next communication that would be awesome.
But definitely, in general this kind of stuff is just bad for everyone.
