Important to Note: If you have Sling Blue ($30) you can change to Sling Orange ($30) without cost 100 times a month if you want. So you can basically watch Blue, switch to Orange (i.e. watching MNF) then go back to Blue. You can also have BlueDvrSports then switch to Orangedvrsports... however this doesn't work for standalone packages like Showtime, Starz and packages that aren't available in other Blue or Orange.

I don’t watch a lot of tv I’ve been streaming since early 2010s I started with Netflix than that went down south and got Hulu. I’m right now bored with it and pretty much watched everything I wanted. I tired philo I like it but it’s missing a few things. I tired sling and it pretty much has everything I want at the right price. I’m not picky I’m very basic and I like it so far.

The people have an emergency! Sling is in panic mode and has DISABLED the ability to cancel service (click on Account where you cancel and it loops you back to the home page making it impossible to cancel) because hundreds of thousands of people have cancelled service in the past couple of days because they can't watch the NFL playoffs since NBC and ABC are not available.

Well, you are comparing apples to oranges when you say the AirTV mini is the same as a Roku or Fire stick. As you know the AitTV devices are used to stream local OTA broadcasts exclusively while the other two do not - although the Roku and Firestick have apps to facilitate the use of the AirTV. Even though I hate AirTV due to their terrible security and support.

Sling is horrible, they have longer commercial breaks. Shows get cut off in mid sentence to fit in there insert ads ( like contract ads local ads ) they told me that themselves. If you press back and then click on the show again watch live theres 1 to 2 minutes of show they cut off from the beginning of the commercial break and the end

You did not say Plex and it's free if you don't want to steam it out from your place. Can get a live time for just over a $100 I think and if you want to record video's can get a HD home run and that is just one cost and don't cost any thing per month! This is your best bet!

sling.vs philo tv weve had both.only kept sling because philo doesnt carry .fox news or sports.sling is bad about rewinding right in the middle of a show.very upsitting.philo streams very stroung.sad it doesnt carry sports or news .if they did we would of kept.philo.

Sling is SHADY. Cancelled and they still billed me for three months and they won't refund me any of it even though I proved to them that I cancelled. They are disreputable. Watch your bank statements closely if you cancel. They will still charge you!

Since PlayStation Vue is cancelling services next month I need an alternative. Price isn’t a big deal for me as I was paying 58 a month. I’m debating if I should go with Sling over the other services

I'm trying to cut the cord, but I live with the in laws and sling does not cut it. It doesn't have Univision. Wait! I can get Univision I went with the cheap package and don't have Univision

If you think about it for real hulu if the best value. With him that $55 you are still getting hulu HB access so that's like having cable and Netflix but it's hulu

I got one of the 1st Sling boxes and did not use it much and long ago when I went to upgrade they would only give me like $20 trade in for it. I did not do it.

Don't be fooled by Sling's low prices, in the past week they've had 2 outages which lasted hours and I'm going back to Fubo when my billing cycle is up.
