I’m interested in sling, because of cost and my landlord won’t let me have dish, they don’t like a dish on a pole or a roof and they won’t tolerate any more coaxial cables going through walls. How does streaming services get around this Im a news junkie and do like entertainment. Not really nuts for sports. If I can just have a system that doesn’t leave a physical foot print I would love that.

I am currently paying over 150$ a month for FIOS tv and internet, they bumped up my payment back in march of this year, was looking to go to Sling TV and with another internet provider do you still think Sling TV would be a better alternative It seems to me that I would save alot of money with Sling TV, FIOS charges hidden fees and equipment rental fees.

Yes it’s worth it. I tried the other apps. Not worth it. I’m curious about philo though but I have people in the house who want Fox News and cnn. I don’t care for those networks anymore. $25 a month is a big bargain for philo. I already can live without network local tv as well. I don’t miss cbs, nbc, or abc. Never thought that would happen.

I think it's pretty cool because it doesn't cost as much and then you can cut it and make it $35 a month when you don't really feel like spending that much and then if you really feel like just going all out pay $50 I just really like that you can add stuff and then you can take away stuff that flexibility is the number one seller for me

I've had problems with Sling. I only keep it for football season and the screen consistently freezes up (sometimes sound and screen together, other times just the screen but for much longer times) making it hard to watch a game. I have fast internet and only use one browser at a time so I'm not entirely certain what's going on.

for your own sanity stay away from sling, they overcharge then refuse to give your money back, avoid them like the plaque. there are other service providers with better customer service!!
plus their App is the worst, if you navigate away from it to say Netflix and go back to sling it completely restarts. just terrible!!

I think Sling is awesome and it’s getting better and better. It’s the best option on a budget for sure. I read a post on Reddit about people disliking it because picture quality but I honestly don’t see that at all. I just think is not as popular as the others because is an honest service, not snobbish.

I've got the orange and blue package with the DVR and I can't for the life of me figure out why for the price I'm paying for a the DVR, I cannot forward through Discovery commercials. It would seem like if I had my own DVR I could do whatever the hell I want!! To me that just screams borderline scam

Im getting rid of Sling because they like playing the advertisments at 40 times the volume and decibles of the program or movie your watching. Thats super annoyong having to mute or turn the volume down all the time. Any of the products that are being advertised get shut out by the consumer from this.

Sling TV sucks they offer a free trial then you they charge a 35 bucks it's 35 bucks you don't get your free trial , then you close your account then later someday you're offered another free trial there's 35 buck charge, no free trial.they never refund you your money.

No! The quality sucks. A new interface doesn't make any sense. It's the only streaming app that I have that buffers and that won't load 100% of the time. O have to uninstall then reinstall and sign back in every time I want to watch it.Do not buy Sling TV.

Sling sucks. They make it nearly impossible to cancel. There's nothing on their UI and they don't return emails. But they happily autorenew your monthly membership without asking, which again, they make it extremely difficult to cancel.

sling is a pain in the Ass since you have to resign in all the time. Watch for a couple hours and turn it off then want to watch again turn it back on and u have to resign in. You have to start up the computer just to resign in,,terrible.

Sling tv has everything i need in the blue package with Hollywood xtra. I pay currently $35. But that price is going up next month to $40. I mostly watch wwe programming. Also impact wrestling on axes tv. And mom likes TCM.

If you have an Amazon firestick wait for a while. The latest update Aug 1 ish broke the DVR FF and RWD. Just got off the phone with Sling they are aware and sorry but no discount and no ETA on a fix ........

$35 for blue package plus $11 for the sports package and you’re set for the NFL Red Zone season. 4 month regular season. $184 for full coverage of all key plays of every game. Sounds good to me.

seems to me everyone of these platforms have a caveat all i want to do is watch college football and a little fox news1 stream per household on the orange package is a deal breaker

Yes sling has changed considerably. It now steals from you too. It shuts you subscription down early. Sometimes even a week early. Especially if you use a gift card.

SLING is too much. No cable is worth over 12$ / Month these days. Given many are out of work, they need better. So far Pluto is the best.
