Why don't you just use SDI (snappy driver installer)?, no installation required, no adware or anything like that, it updates not only your network drivers but EVERYTHING (if you want) AND it has not only the latest driver, you can choose older versions too...
USUALLY i like your content, but i had to disagree several times when you just did something more complicated than needed OR used tools i wouldn't recommend...
i hope someone reads all that, especially titus
1. i NEVER had to look up my realtek network card before downloading a driver from their site... it IS NOT very good designed, that is right, but you just have to select network cards and then the category with the drivers that have your network speed. done.
2. the cmd/powershell commands... you can of course do that manually, but i would recommend (again, wrote that into another comment too) the TechToolStore application and use one of the (i think 2) -complete network repair- apps which are provided there... those doesn't only automate the cmd commands you used, you can repair windows update, reset internet explorer settings and more.
now to the 3. point (sigh). I very disagree to your dism repair methods... i HATE it when i search a problem solver, get to a MSDN or ANY microsoft forum and EVERY EEEVERY time the -best- answer is some customer care person who suggests to first run sfc /scannow and then dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth... the most clever ms supporter even tell the poor OP to run /checkhealth and /scanhealth before running /restorehealth, which is not only more time consuming, it is just plain dumb. MS should remove those commands imho. Now, my point: EVEN with a functional install.wim file as source (you should use /LimitAccess when using /source btw, so that dism doesn't try to use online repairs, but only files in the .wim file), i can not remember when dism actually achieved to help me solving ANY windows problem... i usually run sfc and dism every other day (usually when i am bored ), but the only command that does anything good would be the /startcompononentcleanup one (here i would actually recommend using /analyzecomponentstore before to see if a cleanup is actually necessary (the /checkhealth and /scanhealth arguments NEVER tell you that or if something is corrupted, NEVER!).
Instead of using dism, i just would recommend a repair installation of the exact same windows version (since you went through the hassle of downloading the .iso file, you can do that anyway). Just mount the iso like you said, but use the normal setup.exe (or setupprep.exe in the sources folder). Next, if you want, you can search for updates, then there is a EULA page and then you can select/change what you want to keep when repair installing (only IF you downloaded the right version, so doublecheck -> settings -> system -> about, there you can see the installed windows version). Here you usually do not have to change anything because the -keep personal files and apps- option is checked by default. This preserves any and all installed apps and programs as well as your personal user folder. There will be a new folder after the repair called -Windows.old- with everything that was taken out, so you can get everything back IF something gets deleted (which doesn't usually happen, it is a very clean and easy method overall).
What that does is the following: first the install.wim and some other files will be copied to the system drive, then the pc restarts and you basically see what seems to be a -normal- windows installation (screen with percentage number, restarts at 30%, then again at 75%), after the 75% restart, it goes up to 100% but instead of another restart you get your normal windows login screen. after entering pin or password, there will be a short -getting ready phase- with an according message. after that you will get immediately to your desktop and there are very few things that have changed (system restore will be disabled for example). but it is essentially a fresh version of YOUR windows, with everything as it was before. THIS method actually helps when windows gets corrupted.
The repair installation doesn't take as long as a normal installation btw. with an SSD drive i would say you can get to work again after 20 minutes or so.
just my 2 cents.

This video gives me an idea for a future topic: how those toolbars got inserted into the browser in the past and what was the best way to solve it. I suspect - given that uninstalling and reinstalling the browser did not work - that they put it in some users-folder (roaming/local) and that removing the Firefox folder in that folder would have solved it but I don't know for sure.

1 in 20 network issues, ROFL , I have had 2 network issues in 10 years at home and work but then , I know how to set up my network correctly, physically and logically.
This Video is awful, your guidelines are a disaster, you are clearly trying to break peoples setups just because you hate windows 10, just stop this crap dude

You need to incorporate Snappy Driver Installer, you can use the lite version that connects to the internet, or you can get the full version which has basically all of the drivers you'll need and want in under 20GB. Literally the uncompressed full version is like 90GB last time i checked

Good video! I was actually surprised you didn't mention -ping-. -ping- can be a great way to determine if DNS lookups are working properly or not. You might not get replies, but the hostname you enter should be resolved to an IP address. Anyway, thanks for posting!

Can I buy a network card and configure a connection through VPN to a games server while simultaneously connecting to the same games server with my legitimate ip from my onboard network adapter? (same pc, 2 instances of same game running but connected with different ips)

On one of my pc's, an intel nuc, I had win 10 freeze and had to switch it off. After starting back up my realtek nic was missing, only thing that worked was turning it off and unplugging everything , after 10 mins I restarted and my nic was back.

My internet is disconnecting and connection every few minutes... Already sent in my network adapter, got a new one, fixed the problem for a day and then they magically reappeared. Rip me.
