i think that someone got it wrong with the multiuser multistream service. I ve read that only protocol 802.11ac can have 2x2 3x3 4x4 streams. The long established b/g/n can serve one at a time which uses the SU-MIMO, stands for single user. Yopu mentioned that aruba at 2.4Ghz is 2x2 .

Your WiFi test is only half accurate - you have upgraded the Access Point however your laptop/computer radio hasnt been upgraded so all the things that are causing interference on the AP are also interfering with the computers Wifi. Its a two communication.

I use Ubiquiti and TP-Link gear on 28 acres of property. One of the problems with these Mimo units is that when you turn the mesh on, the units use the 5ghz band for the mesh and so your throughput is reduced to the 2.4ghz side of the transmitter.

There are actually only two places on earth where foot-measurement applies other then to a foot-measurement like in a footwear store:-
2. The UK for everything not/and foot related-
-3. and some former UK colonies

Thanks for posting this review! A friend is looking for an access point, for his bedroom, and I'll check this Aruba device out with him. I've been curious about these but never tried one. Thanks!
