Is NOW the Time to Switch to Microsoft Edge? - Kevin Stratvert In this overview video, find out whether you should switch to Microsoft Edge. Edge has been innovating with many unique features that you won't find on any other browser. You can use the immersive reader to focus on the content that you care about. Edit & annotate PDFs using text, drawing, or highlighting. Create collections to help you plan a vacation, come up with gift ideas, or work effectively on a project. These are just a few of the features that we look at today. I've been a long time Chrome user and recently switched to Edge. - Additional resources - Download and Install Edge: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge - Google Chrome Tips & Tricks: https://youtu.be/7DHjtQgOnSs

One of the factors that matter to me is the sync option for all the devices. I'm currently using Firefox but its recent android updates have been making it bad. How is ME in this aspect? is the app on pair with the computer version?
Edit: when I say -on pair-, I refer to the stability and smoothness, not its many functionalities, I know that's something hard to do for a smartphone at the moment.

I use Edge but I would like them to not push Bing so hard on the user. Such as the right click menu, it says search in new tab, and another option to search with bing. That makes it confusing to have an extra option that looks similar and is trying to make you use Bing instead of your preferred search engine.

Only reason I kept using Chrome instead of Edge was due to poor casting implementation to Chromecast devices, a sub-par mobile app on Android, and loading webpages was slower than Chrome on mobile. Now, Microsoft's fixed all that. Definitely going to make the switch over on all my personal devices now.

I started using edge in 2019 when the new version came out. I waited until then because the earlier version didn't support the Dark Reader plugin I liked. The fact that it was based on Chromium was even more enticing and I liked the added features that it provided such as the snipping tool.

Seems like the whole MS workforce turned out to comment here :)
What if I told you...You don't have to choose between MS spyware or Google spyware?
Because there are fantastic open source browsers like Firefox or Brave.

I switched 8 months back to edge from chrome. Its fast, feature-rich and the host forgot one important feature which is you can open doc, ppt, xl, pdf without the need to download by default.

Nope. My quick links from the home page started to disappear after using the browser for a year or so and they don't come back. Had to stop using Edge for that reason, sadly.
