DuckDuckGo's Upcoming Desktop Browser & More! - Surveillance Report 45 - Techlore
video description
When a government can totally ignore any law with impunity, those laws effectively don't exist.
How great are China's privacy laws? China has forced labor internment camps. But their -privacy- over that is very strict. It can't be talked about by the media inside the country. China also has great influence on what media companies OUTSIDE China have to say about that.
So, I guess, in a WAY, China DOES have. At least, STRICTER privacy laws than the U. S.

Well then this will effect the Microsoft 11 then if Microsoft uses amazon for apk apps. Then will amazon block side loading Google play store apps. As I see amazon is in trouble any ways, well I think this is why they teaming up with Microsoft. I know lots of people who have ditched their Amazon fire tablets as they have priority software this will be bad for Microsoft. I hope Microsoft lets us delete amazon and use Google play store

When I install a phone app, I give the creator of the app permission to collect data from my phone. I'm sure the app includes code that sends my data out, but can the app send out one-time instance of usually cryptic, backdoor keys to gather my phone's data without requiring further assistance from the app. and does the legal permission I give the company to collect my data survive uninstalling the app?

Users can already make or have a desktop browser almost exactly like DuckDuckGo's on mobile. You can download the Brave browser, set it to private only mode, download the extension Terms of Service Didn't Read, and use DuckDuckGo exclusively for your searches. Brave has much of the same privacy protections DDG's mobile browser.

I'm curious if DDG's desktop browser will be Chromium-based or Firefox-based. I won't switch from Firefox, and LibreWolf already provides a good Firefox alternative, so I'd want to know what DDG will offer. I've used DDG since quitting Google in 2018, so I'm willing to give them a shot at least.

great one again. Can you make a video to fight against internet trolls like on social media or other platforms. Information on methods to do this or companies to do this for you. It seems trolling is a huge online security issue whether as a person or as a brand. would love to hear from you: )

We all know tech like contract tracing starts off with innocent promises and escalates from there. The games are always the same if you pay attention to the methods. Go look at the varieties of taxation in the last 100 years on all classes, every angle is covered.

-We're going to use ubiquitous data to try to catch a murderer. -
-NOOOOES! THAT'S -BAD-! -
-Ok. -
-Crime is up. Murders are up 91% in some cities. -
-NOOOOES! THAT'S -BAD-! -
Simple. Defund the police as a privacy measure!

I'm pissed that DDG bought Yippy. They were the best search engine for research and DDG scrapped the project after buying them. Not a good look for them getting rid of competition like that.
