Before I preferred Bit defender since I heard it's cheap.
Knowing that both AV performs than the rest.
Since I'm on limited budget, I will surely choose BD.
But if I have money to spare. I will go for Kaspersky.
So I checked and did research on each website. PH region
- Kaspersky Internet Security (2years - 1 device) cost $50 but with 40% discount. so it will $30.
- BitDefender Internet Security (2years - 1 device) on the other hand cost $70 with no discount
So I chose Kaspersky.
Then I checked again for the cheapest AV on our country's E-Commerce platform.
- BitDefender Internet Security with Installer (2years - 1 device) cost $7 (shipping fee not included)
- Kaspersky Internet Security (license only sent via email) (1year - 1 device) cost $11 dollars. But the seller provided me additional year still for $11.
So today, I was able to purchase Kaspersky Internet Security license for two years for $11 only. That was already a big savings for me.
If you you ask me, which is better? I cannot answer that since both AV are considered the BEST and I used both of them for years on my devices.
but if you asked me which do I prefer. Simply Kaspersky. The interface and scanning process is the reason.
So you can compare both but it's up to your preference which one you will choose.

Are you comparing BitDefender vs Kaspersky, or advertising Bitdefender? But if you really want to know, I use Kaspersky.
Having used Bitdefender, Avast, Norton, McAfee, Nod, etc, I've yet to see any anti-virus package that is as effective and easy to use as Kaspersky. I'm constantly replacing other packages on customer machines with Kaspesky, only to have them be surprised because it then proceeds to discover virus and malware threats that their previous defense failed to recognize.
7 years of personal experience has taught me that Kaspersky is the better product.

I have seen Kaspersky performance since 2009. Till today it's the best in detection. While bit defender from 2016, it's good in my usage but not upto the mark. Features are more on Bitdefender.
Data sharing policies are considered then Kaspersky is way better. I like this video but I trust Kaspersky. Fingers crossed. And yes, Norton Life lock is also good option if u consider US allegations on Kaspersky.
Above all be wise on internet!

I have seen Kaspersky performance since 2009. Till today it's the best in detection. While bit defender from 2016, it's good in my usage but not upto the mark. Features are more on Bitdefender.

One thing i know is that the performance of kaspersky is far more better than bitdefender. I'vs used pro versions of both of them.
Kaspersky uses approx 200-300MBs of ram whereas Bitdefender uses 700MBs of ram (both exculding the 500MBs of windows processes). And speaking of security, Kaspersky is strong enough to handle MrsMajor or Petya. So with less resource hunger and a good quality protection Kaspersky wins.

Bit Defender is a Joke in the name of Antivirus ..!! true Shit doesn't matter what you say .!! i installed it and my pc goes slow without any reason .. i have a decent Gaming rig Ryzen 5 2600,DDR4 16Gb ram then also bit defender can't run my pc smoothly . i use norton now far more better then this shit.

Kaspersky doesn't offer much in the free version? Kaspersky's free has more useful features then bit defender's paid version. BD free is a bare boned joke in comparison. Kas has a dizzying array of goodies to tinker with and its the best AV I've ever used in terms of lack of resource consumption.

I tried kaspersky then bitdefender . I choose bitdefender because the interface was way more simpler and the issue with kaspersky on pc was that the software was lagging and crashing sometimes when i click different tasks .
