There is no perfect system. There is no perfect defence. You will alwayd be vulnerable in one way or another if connected to the internet.
Any sensitive data, always store on offline system accessible only through physical means by you. Place backups of your online system on your offline machine if you are sure it's safe.
If your online machine you use gets compromised, format the drives, load the backup.

-14: 50 Filling the drive with zero's wont make it look new.
Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology System (S. M. A. R. T) is built into most modern drives.
Using something like smartmontools will tell you how used the drive is.

Seperate email accounts from different services: one exclusively for banking, one exclusively for private communications, another for official trusted authorities other than banking and last one for overall garbage.

Kaspersky injecting an ID into web pages made users trackable. They also have a VPN service. Their anti-virus is pretty great but causing a security risk and selling you the solution is pretty shady
